The devs need to realise that we can’t dedicate our lives to grinding for some stupid creature. Most players have school or work, and don’t have the time to grind for every single new creature. It is disgusting that the devs keep doing this, I can’t express my anger enough

Remember when creatures were all put in the carni, omni and herbi gacha and just costed 65 shrooms and some luck? Miss it

At this point, the devs should just outright say that they want our money. If you wanna make creatures that are a bit harder to get, thats fine and good! But for the love of god at LEAST make the system actually enjoyable to play with and not absurdly difficult. "Economy" shouldnt come before the overall enjoyment your players get from playing the game. LISTEN to the players, because they have the game's best interests at heart.

Some tips for the grind: 1. Be a euvias 2. Place burrow at your desired shrine 3. Place burrow at full meat spawner 4. Shove all that meat into your burrow 5. Give it all to the shrine (If you have a private server, leaving and rejoining refills all the spawners)

I like the idea of grinding for creatures, i DONT like the idea that every new creature makes you grind more than the last, i think we need more small creatures more normal gacha ones and small stuff, other thing the math that artifacts uses is stupid, i have 89 small air artifacts and 4 big ones, not just still in 19k price the bird but also is useless all the small artifacts 2% discount to the reduced price, maybe if the 40% was to actual price and 2% in original could be more fair

I wish the artifacts did a continuous discount based on the original price of the creature and not the current price based on preexisting artifacts you’ve collected.

If they want you to grind for them, fine. But at least make the grinding more enjoyable.

The price decrease recently and probably will continue to decrease. I got mine relatively fast just out of sheer determination. I also sold it for 20k and a boreal. I do plan on getting a second a trex for myself again.

On paper it’s a pretty good idea. But in classic COS fashion, they have to ruin it. Megalo and Queze where fine, sure grindy, but atleast it isn’t the worst. Magnacetus and now Ghartokus are just painful and grindy. It took me 10+ hrs and alot of dedication to get magnacetus. I can’t imagine the pain and suffering it would take to get this new one. Do better cos

I'm genuinely surprised you made your friend throw 5+ creatures at Ghar without even considering that its stats outright beat every single one except Hygos easily. Hygos only comes close thanks to photovore buff and slightly higher base dmg. 23k + fortify isnt a lot either. Cause theres still heavier creatures like Empi, Magna, Eigion, Pace, Jabble, Gram, Gnol, Lmako, Lorolael, Venu, Boreal, Kavo, and Kora.

Yeah I think we need to address the choices of the devs and not be complacent

instead of grinding for like 4 hours for it ill probably just wait for to decrease even more and sell my Christmas creatures

Tha why I’ve stopped playing, to many creatures in an environment, doesn’t even feel like a alien world with this much variety. Not to mention most of the creatures barely even fit in with what the world feels like

with all the economic studying required for cos, it's now fallen into the trading section instead of being a survival game.

I personally never played COS, but even a giant, OP dino with a gorgeous design should NOT cost that much in game money.

The power creep is becoming unreal and its making alot of people not even want to play. we'd have to grind for what actually amounts to months due to school/work/life obligations and then when we finally have it theres a new bigger more op creature to grind for all over again.

I have finally got my first ghar species, but only after 9 hours.... 18 jewels and 8 stones. Worth it? dunno. Tired? definitely. Upset that the devs make every new and 'good' creature either incredibly expensive or extremely hard to get one way or another? E X T R E M E L Y

The t-rex is very Grindy since you have to wait every 30 min to restart doing the shrine. Eigion is the best since its only 1k food and IT give a 30% Discount for it

I could do this in MINIMUM 4 hours??!! Are you kidding me?! It took me 2 DAYS to even muster enough self-will to start grinding and it’s DESTROYED my mental health. Seriously this game is getting on my nerves.

I haven’t played this game in a while. I can’t ever get a creature like this with the amount of coins they keep grinding. You can’t make your life depend on a damn game bro.

I like playing as smaller creatures because they dont cost a fortune to get like big creatures. this is a PERFECT example.

I literally just quit the game because they wouldn’t stop adding so much bullshit. Turned from a neat worldbuilding project to utter trash, every other week they release some cinematic bombastic new god creature that’s more powerful than the rest, and they are nowhere near inviting to new players. The only way to 100% the game is to go through the trouble of becoming a hella popular RU-vidr and even then you’re probably gonna spend the next 2 months away from sunlight because they released another thing. Almost like magic, after I quit COS my grades went up, I started making more friends, my sleep schedule came back, and I had more fun now that it wasn’t the only thing I played.

Sonar Studios only make Pay to win games and thats the reason I've completely given up on them. Usless trash man.

I've had to stop playing because I just couldn't anymore, the devs and their prices physically made me have to stop playing because I couldn't progress at all. This game was fun but honestly screw it completely now. It's just a glorified money grab at this point.

Tbh this is one of the easier artefact creatures just burrow at eigion and novus shrines (avoid ardor takes double the time of both) and maybe get an alt to farm carcasses

Creatures of Sonaria is too grindy and a waste of time or should I say life! Now I know why my friends quit CoS so fast and the even gave me reasons. 1- Every 2 minutes you get 5 shooms (It should me like 10 per minute) 2- The prices went going uphill very fast 3- They added creatures like EVERY week 4- Like some creatures take 2 hours to grow (Korathos) This is something that the developers should realize and should know: We can’t spent or dedicate or life, families, school, work whatever you do to grind some stupid creature. Devs I know you like adding new creatures to the game and that is a good thing and the designs are incredible but the thing we can’t grind for every single creature that is added into the game so they should think a way so the game can’t be to grindy/time wasting Who agrees with me?? 👇

Fun fact Hugo’s are easy to take as a ken if they follow their tail. Also fighting isn’t the most important or worthwhile thing. Most times people just fight to fight not survive

Old CoS player here, quitted about a year ago and just reading that title was enough to make me feel mad at the devs. Started playing at the end of 2020, and back then I got my first Ker for only 9k. Terrifying to see the state of the game right now, and how grindy's it's become

I start to play this game during summer event and left after two weeks. The grind is just ridiculous, its not worth to spend dozens of hours doing the same shit over and over to get "cool limited creature". Real money prices are insane too. And if i want to grind, i would play a game what is at least standalone and not silly Roblox project to farm money. Value your time, guys, and don't feed the greed

bro I remember when it realized omg the prices after a couple hours when I figured out how to get it I got three and sold one for like 40k another for aeries and 30k and another for an angelic and urzuk brother this new spec went crazy omg. all u need to do is get a private server and consintlay feed the states and leave and rejoin the server to reset the food, by far this was the easiest artifact spec.

6 months later, its dropped to 6k 😭

i offered an ardor for a megalo when megalo was just released but now i just lost like a good 8k worth of mush :(

The fact that the even a cc (someone who can just sell aeires and get free mush) still needed to grind that much is insane, I think some new creatures being added exclusively to the bleeder and toxin gatchas would honesty be better, nobody wants or has time to grind hours for this leaf-covered op kendyll.

I took down a full-grown and full health hygos as a colval once (aswell as a sang)

I mean, if it takes bleed damage it’s weak to Mek mek, hygos are just walking meat bags for Mek anyways

Well since I’m broke I needed to grind for it I got this floof Rex by also grinding and I have no regrets So I only spend 3.5K to buy it 👍🏻

those 4 hours were painful.

It takes around 8 hours of straight grinding or less to get one

ngl if I were to try to grind I would just be a kiiwin nest get eggs and while it reloads I go around and get meat for the statues

some in the artifact are still new but they still add more to it like come on i cant keep up and i have school work to do and i cant keep playing bc of it

I have an easy solution...I'll share...use euvias,to transport meat through your burrows...after the carcass is low,pick the meat off until it's 4 or 5 left after that eat the rest,it will replenish after 2-3 minutes,rinse and repeat, you're welcome,I have 5 so far and it only took a few hours a day out of my playtime
