add an armor doesn't keep the wolf alive, a creeper blow would skill kill it if it less defense than our diamond armor. And wolf are annoying, sometime they teleport to me and push me in the lava. And sometime it walk into my sweeping edge 3 netherite sword and die instantly.

At home when you accidentally leave the door open it Will be slain by a skeleton or other hostile mob

Those are duties and responsibilities of the owner itself. Its not like you can teach it some tricks and such so it'll listen to what you want and what it should do. Whatever issue happens during the game is the players fault and not by the mobs that doesn't have its own will.

I think it really depends on your play style. Also I personally don’t like to takes wolves with me because of their clumsy way of following you and attacking hostile mobs. Mojang should first do something about the AI of wolves.

I think they are all cute. They should actually add them all and stop with this mob vote thing

I think that even reskins like this should be as atmospheric mobs. Bc glow squid adds a lot of atmosphere to deep ocean. And also it has a great functionality now. Glowing text on signs and item frames are kinda great IMO. Idk about sniffer tho.

If all you care is PvP, the crab still the best, just placing blocks like cobwebs, lava or making barriers from further away than your oponent is a MASSIVE advantage

I’m not saying the crab is the best option. I think we should vote with the information we have. With that information, I’m leaning more towards the crab, even if it’s just placing blocks just 1 block further away.

I’m not really sure if you watched the whole video, because I was not saying that the crab was better and that I wasn’t actually sure who I would vote for😊 But I’m glad that you are happy with the armadillo. Me too! Just still hope that Mojang will upgrade the wolf AI.

Consider that we have a helmet in game that is made of turtle scute, and also we have iron_gold_diamond and netherite helmets...

I think that it’s really gonna be between the crab and the armadillo. It really depends on your play style which one you prefer. I’m not saying that the crab or armadillo is better. But I do think that lot’s of people have wrong expectations about the armadillo. Thanks for your comment btw!

I think dog armor would have been better if wolves would function. But like I say in the video, they are very clumsy and annoying to take with you.

Mojang should do something about the AI for wolves. If they would fix that, wolf armor could be great. But as they are now, I’m not gonna have any use to the dog armor.

⁠@@TheMineMentor You only think that because you have thought through all the flaws of wolf armor but are to enamored to allow yourself to consider that the crab claws suck. The Chinese version of the mob vote explicitly says that you can’t break blocks which almost certainly means no PvP. Not to mention that it will probably be ANOTHER tool to clutter up our inventories. Those of us who are fighting for the armadillo know that it isn’t perfect we just know how disappointing the crab will be. Even if the only thing we got was the mob itself, I would rather pick the armadillo and add a unique savanna mob then add ANOTHER unique mangrove swamp mob. Especially if the crab won’t spawn in coral reefs.

I just wait for armadillo to get added and then to everyone who voted for him to be dissapointed. Just like all of the other mob votes
