As a young entrepreneur and leader of an online video editing business that produces videos for RU-vidrs and Instagram pages that fetch millions of views at a time, Bryan Shaw explains the problems with the education system, and why this was an impediment to his entrepreneurial aspirations.
Bryan is a freelance video producer and graphics designer, and works with many people around the world, such as large RU-vidrs. Currently studying the International Baccalaureate in England, Bryan has experienced the schooling systems of several countries and has views on how these different schooling systems either stifle or encourage one's own endeavours.

It's true that our education system is kinda stressful. As early as pre-school, kids are being burnt out with so much paper and pen works...a not so enjoyable truth...

Inkonw this was, and I think still is the case, that is, sudsbury valley scool,: the only required or compulsory openwork/writing (or for that matter comulsury or required anything) for students, was to sigh on and out of the school at some point, every scool day, and eve that I tbelieve you could get help from someone else with, or at this point probably do it electronically. The rest of the time was pretty much up to you, study, or play, or sslepp if you want to. From the testimony and things from people who went there there whr Ty were younger, it turthey turned out pereyy well happy successful people, from a sudsbury valley school education. You can find things Voit that, and similar democratic scolls , on RU-vid Ana d elsewhere. It's really interesting, thoig unfortunately most schools are much close to what you describe, than to a sudsbury Valle or democratic school with self directed learning .

I believe that if the worlds next generations didn't depend on the current completely flawed education system, anyone in the world could create an education system that would outshine the current one ten fold. Specifically the US education system, I could take a month at max to rewrite the education system completely and it could probably create students that could thrive better in the world than anyone that currently does.

It would take me 1 Day to rewrite the education system to make amazing students, the rest of the time to thread the education system into the country that is how simple it would be.

I recommend looking into Sudbury valley school, and schools based on they model, and other democratic model schools and self directed learning more generally., Inthe course of your research and design work. Good luck, I wish you every success 👍

How other counties might surpass the USA because they put more resources into AI education at a young age Artificial intelligence (AI) is a rapidly evolving field with the potential to transform industries and drive economic growth. As such, it has become a key focus for countries around the world, and many are investing heavily in AI research and development. However, one area that is often overlooked is AI education at a young age. By investing in AI education at an early age, countries are positioning themselves to be leaders in the field and to reap the economic benefits that come with it. One of the main reasons that other countries might surpass the USA in AI is because they are investing more resources in AI education at a young age. The point is good, but the description of the Finnish system is actually not accurate. Our school system in Finland is far from good even if it is better than others... There are final tests before the uni, but there is also normal tests in every subject many times a year. Our system dosent systematically try to courage students to find what really intrestest them nor generaly even allow them to make crative decions about how they like to study. Unfairly many of the Finnish students are having mental problems with theyr studies. Point of the Finnish school system is to give everybody some basic knowledge in the general subjekts and you need to study everything. Even if you are some adhd who is really intrested in sience you cant get in university if you don't pass Swedish tests even if you are the best in the subjekt you are going to study... (most of the fins do not ever even need Swedish, but because politics every one must study it...) The goes on and on. But if someone really wants to create great school system it should take inspire from the problems of the best not just try to be as good, because that does not lead anywhere... (Props for you if you could understand all of my perfect english)

Roope I think your English is just fine and totally understandable, especially if it's not you first language. Those are interesting and good points. Even a sya national school system that is considered the best, or lest bad, is not neccxarily ll that good when you look into it more closely, and hthing could be much better than it. Time of the problems you mentioned, like how students still have to take retain subjects , even when they have no ntrest in nor Ouse for that subject. And how there are still compulsory exams throught a students time at school. In sudsbury valley school, and most schools based on the model and othr sdemoctatic schools, there are not compulsory exams, and no compulsory subjects that students are required to take. Following your interests and parrions on encouraged and facilitated by the school, including the chance to start new clsees or lectures ofr a subject you like , of one doesn't already exist. There are quite few dsudssbury valley model schools, and other democratic schools, around europe, north America, and ot r parts of the world now. I know a of a couple on Ireland, and some in the nethwrlnad. I don't know about Finland, bit I think it's difficult to set up new schools there outside of the national schools system eprhaps. So, ther is a, on many ways, better option that allewdy exists, although I d ok nt think it's yet the standard or national system in any country or state. Maybe some of they was interesting. What academic institution lets kids pass their class with doing just one assignment, the whole entire school year? The American public education system does…that’s the problem with the system….only in America.
