Footings are the first major construction element for any new home build. The crew at Integral Design where I work, does not mess around when it comes to footings. These things are MASSIVE and engineered to make sure the rest of this custom home build has an extremely strong starting point. A second layer of concrete forming and pouring will go on top, then it's joists and framing from there up!
