cause if you paint the hole at the cup setter height by the time half the field have come through and put the flag back in the cup sinks down exposing the unpainted part of the hole which looks horrible

@@reesebaird that would happen regardless though wouldnt it? unless you pushed the cup all the way to the bottom of the hole, but that would look silly?

The middle of the cup will fill up with sand when you set the cup so jamming the flag stick in the hole is dispersing that sand
