When Sam and Ryan first wrote to me with this request I replied joking that we would have to change the lyrics to "I would would 500 Aisles" and that was the beginning of a wonderful and heartwarming email exchange - I really feel like I've made two new friends and I was so happy to create this arrangement for Sam to walk down the aisle to. I wish them both the most magical wedding day today and the brightest of futures together - we already have a plan for me to play this live for them when they renew their vows 10 years from now 😊

Our wedding has been postponed 3 times due to the pandemic (a postponed wedding is the least of the world's troubles, we know, & we're eternally grateful to still have our health!). On a positive note it now means we get to hear this beautiful piano version of one of the most underrated songs. Thank you for your mesmerising talent, Paul. 🥰😘

But I would walk 500 aisles and I would walk 500 more, Just to be the bride who walked a thousand aisles to say "I do" once more! .... Glad you like this one Dave!! This song was such a HUGE Number 1 hit in Australia in 1990 - it was so nice to re-visit it and to realise how beautiful it really is underneath. Hope your Wednesday is even better than your Tuesday Dave! Thursdays and Saturdays are my favourite days.. I don't know why or how but they always seem to be the best. 😊

Moved me to tears (happy tears though!). As a person in a long distance relationship (NL - GER) during Corona times, this really got me. Always having this uncertainty at the moment if regulations change and you can't see your loved one for a long time. We've been really lucky so far though. :) This reminded me of how we can always count on each other even if we're far away. Would love to have this version of the song playing at our wedding one day!

This has been my dream processional for the last 2 years as I have been planning my wedding. I was struggling to find a cover that fit what I was looking for. Ohh thanks, Sir😅 I stopped on memorising pieces. I'm now trying to improve my sight-reading, techniques, and scales with Alfred's Adult Basic book. I also set a schedule on when to practice the piano (30mins - 1 hour) because I've fallen behind in school with bad grades😂 and btw I'm also working on to cure my phone addiction.

Thanks so much John! I have a Yamaha Upright piano with the SH Silent System built in so I record onto a usb stick directly from the piano. It’s a sample of a Yamaha CFX concert grand - I really love it. I then add some reverb (QL Spaces) in Pro Tools

I feel like there’s a major Scottish influence in this arrangement. The proclaimers are from Scotland, right? Beautiful and brilliant work- I love these wedding arrangements, Paul... wonderfully well done.

Erm. Sorry but u can't call every song a wedding version just by jamming canon in d into it. This one sounded forced. Don't get me wrong, you play beautifully. This just didn't fit.
