The prodigal son | suicidal, addicted, & depressed Jimmy’s Testimony 

I lost my brother 3 weeks ago to alcohol withdrawal. I prayed for God to make him better or to take him if he could not be healed. God took him home. It hurts so much though. I wish he could have been healed from his alcoholism and still be here with us. I hate seeing my parents suffering his loss. 😭 Still I know God is good and He knows best.

As someone who has also backslid who’s trying to get back on the straight and narrow, I’ve realised I’ve been believing the lie that it’s too late for me. I have felt like God has shut His door to me, and that there isn’t room for me anymore.. This testimony touched me, knowing that God has forgiven me and I need to also forgive myself 🤍

Loved that you allowed him to share his testimony. I started crying the moment he mentioned his brother. Just a reminder that God can and will use anyone to help his people. Happy for him that God carried him through and he was able to rid of his old self like it talks about in Colossians 3 and Ephesians and his new self was being renewed. Relying on Jesus is our only means of salvation.

Powerful! I was homeless too and it was hard but it does give you the heart for homeless people 😢 and opens your eyes to adulthood man god is good!

Man I can relate to this so deep in many levels but for me my brother served the lord and laugh at him for it . He would bump coritos on his old Dj he had that he use to use to bump corridos and one day he got saved and I didn’t understand the crazy change . But today I wish I knew then what I know now . I got in to gangs in La got busted for 3 murders and 2 attempted murders , I was young came out when I was 22 in amd out of jail since I was 13 , man breaks to share this but my brother loved me so much that some people came to look for me amd my brother loved Jesus so much that he got in front of those people and talk to the lord and the dude shot him in . He died with tears in his eyes . I want to believe those where happy tears man I’m crying now just sharing this . But this video me tocó mucho . Now I’m in the missions preaching Jesus and thanks to what I saw in my brother I see in you two love you guys . Bendiciones
