In a good sense, it is one of the most ingenious, savvy and innovative groups of the last quarter of the century; People who managed to bring the British dance underground to the big stage - and make everyone move under their frenzied rhythm.
It's no coincidence that the critics got out of their way, trying to come up with a new term for the songs of The Prodigy, which would combine the words "rock" and "rave": the animal drive of the first Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim managed to reduce the inexorable power of the second, Resourceful; In their best things, there was always not only a crushing fuse, but also a painstaking musical wit. Nobody ever before them said the cherished words "we want to dance" so loudly - and so convincingly.
All this is true in 2015, when older, but not lost, The Prodigy can serve as a living illustration to the unforgettable hit by Sergei Shnurov, "All this rave." This spring, the band released their new album with the eloquent title "The Day Is My Enemy", and the title is not an empty boastfulness: the energy beats from the plate, that the heart literally beats into the big drum, and all other senses hastily put on ammunition .
