And finally the last Prodigy album which I haven't reviewed yet, which wasn't anything they hadn't already done before but it was the point at which a lot of younger EDM fans jumped on their hype train.

This album basically started their "modern period". You've got the classic years with the first three albums, the modern period with the last three, and then... whatever the hell Always Outnumbered was (again, I enjoy that album, but mainly because it's so unhinged). On Invaders, every track is a banger, I was happy to see you liked "Thunder". I mainly like "World's On Fire" because of it's repeating piano chords, and it is a pretty good title for their live album, where the energy level is through the roof. Though I'm surprised you didn't get into "Take Me to the Hospital" as much. If you listen to it multiple times, I think you'd be able to remember it a lot more, it's one of my favorites here. Overall, a solid album, probably the second best record they've done since their classic trilogy.

Fricking love this one, not a single bad track on it! Most of Prodigy's stuff depends heavily on my mood to make me able to enjoy their stuff (mostly earlier) but this one i can put on regularly and enjoy it every damn time from front to back!

Warrior's Dance is still one of their best tracks from their modern era. Mainly due to how unmistakably PRODIGY it sounds.

I really like this album, but I'll admit it's possibly a bit of nostalgia talking. Invaders Must Die came out right at the height of my The Prodigy obsession, and I listened to it so much that I think I know not only every song but every SOUND on the album by heart. So I can't help but think that everything on here is very memorable (although I think Piranha is easily the weakest track). My cool friends bumped the title track all day on their subsystems; one of my best friends loved some of the deep cuts - Wild West and the Hervé remix of Omen; my personal favourite was Take Me To The Hospital, but later I fell in love with The Big Gundown; I owned the deluxe CD and absolutely poured over the booklet, watched the DVD countless times and drove my parents crazy playing the CDs themselves (especially the multitude of remixes on disc 2 😂). Many good memories, and the last good album from what was my favourite band at the time.

The title track, Omen, and especially Warrior’s Dance are all such incredible bangers! Even though most of the stuff on here isn’t that great for me, it’s still one of their best albums post 1990s!

It isn't even the best from the album, that would have to be "Take Me To The Hospital"....but anyways, these are only our opinions. Basically any track from Experience is better than the whole Invaders Must Die album combined (besides some remixes and "We Are The Ruffest" (not a fan of that track).....but beyond that....most of Jilted and all of Fat Of The Land are better than that track as well.

@@fortheloveofnoise Out Of Space, Your Love (remix), Everybody In The Place, are probably all better. Invaders Must Die is a classic though, one of their best for sure.

Randomly decided to listen to this album for my first dose of The Prodigy when this series first started, and also thought it was just good (after the great start to the album). So I might have to listen to your favorites of theirs

I actually really like this album and I feel it has a distinct sound over the fat of the land. It feels brighter and more high energy. It feels like it has more of that fuel my fire style punk energy going on along with this vague like pendulum feel to it. I personally really like the bright synth melodies of tracks like the title track or Colours, not to mention all the great production and engineering you mentioned propping it up. It also feels like it has much more "epic" sounding melodies and energy. I genuinely think this album is actually really good, and the title track, Thunder and Warrior's Dance are all prodigy favourites of mine.

I really liked this album as a kid and now I think it aged just okay, doesn't sound too outdated. It's still the best release from their modern era, in my opinion.

Not a huge Prodigy fan but I really like this album and of course Music for the Jilted Generation - I guess Invaders harks back to that album quite a bit. The first three tracks are easily the best for me though.

One of my absolutely favs. While AONO was sort of pressing the reboot button, it's the IMD which is the actual reboot from Howlett & co. Defo their best era when it comes to the form of their live performances, great combination of both new and old (hehe) hits. My only problem with this album lays in its sequels - as much as I love the fresh sound of IMD, especialy those video-game like synths, TDIME and NT albums are simply IMD2 & IMD3, you can shuffle them all together and nobody will tell that those songs are from different albums.

I was gonna listen to this album, but I couldn't find it on RU-vid anywhere. I think they're copyright striking people, which kinda sucks (even if they're completely legally allowed to take the videos down)

does this playlist work for you? ru-vid.com/group/OLAK5uy_mdT8Ojh5wl4x60yO6pm1ovPreIOCqAi0o it's from the official source and perfectly legally viewable as far as I can tell (unless it's exclusive to the region I live in, idk)

And the unreleased (beside the live version) remix of it entitled as Thunder Dub is even better, afaik it was even meant to become a single, but got scrapped, that's why we've got those remixes by other artists, they were meant to be part of it.
