It really is amazing to think that the Prodigy wrote this tune back in 92/93 and it was released in 1994. It still holds it's own with the best electronic tunes 20 years on.

One of my biggest regrets in life will be not seeing The Prodigy live before Keith passed. His spirit lives on in all of us though. \m/

For all his wild eyed madness on stage, Keith seems like an absolute sweetheart in real life!! A real decent bloke! Sleep tight Keith, your gonna be missed so much!!

I fuckin love The Prodigy, the greatest dance music act ever, there will never be anything even remotely close to the power and awe that these guys showed at their peak back in the 90s!!! RIP Keith, you and the guys are by far the best thing to come out if Braintree. The few times I saw these guys play through the 90s were some of the best days of my life and will never be forgotten!!!

Its so so sad that the band cant play glasto this year, they are the best live band ever, rock, rap, blues, rave, pop, whatever, they nail it every time. I turned 40 last week, so these guys were with me from school till now. Seen them 4 times over a 20 year period & absolutely gutted. Nothing will beat the Jilted Generation album, although Fat of Land comes close. Currently off work due to mental health issues (prob due to too many pills in the 90s) & Saturday just gone was my worst night for months, I was at a tipping point & it blows my mind that Keith was in an even worse place & took the next step. Emily Eavis says they were booked to play Glasto this year. Gutted. RIP our little "firestarter".

Good bye Keith. We remember watching you guys play here, it was an experience I’ll never ever forget. Thank you for the music and energy.

I saw the 'firestarter ' video for the first time on Top of the Pops way back in 1996 and it completely blew my mind . The next day I went to the music store and purchased ' Music for the jilted generation' . That was it . Prodigy fan for life . Rest in peace Keith !

I saw The Prodigy and Chemical Brothers at a gig in Blackpool in the 1990's. Before Fat of the Land. Myself and my friend were the only two moshers in the room (heavy metal looking with long hair, leather jackets, etc). We looked so out of place that we expected to get jumped by the end of the night. We couldn't have been more wrong. As we headbanged all night, everyone was so pleasant and friendly. Cut to post-Fat of the land and The Prodigy brought together the moshers and the ravers into one family. Nobody did more for that cause. Chances are it saved lives, beatings and made people understand music is a universal language. RIP Keith. Wish I had chance to meet.

I remember you guys released this tune when I was a young boy hunting for aggressive beats to complement my heavy metal and punk addiction... this song showed to many people that electronic music can be aggressive, full of energy and just fucking AWESOME!!! Ohhh yeaaahhh

Unfortunately never got to see Prodigy when the broke into the big time but have great memories of the early days at Raindance etc still get the hairs stand up when i hear Android, your love, pandemonium and takes me back to a warehouse in Cambridge seeing them in black and white and aving it on stage.After those tracks they just escalated into a higher realm, always progressing but never selling out (Charlie was and still is a huge track and original at the time whatever mixmag said !!) i love how they are always innovating to this day they are unique and have managed to cross over into many genres. thank you fellas from the bottom of my heart i have some amazing memories of seeing you through the thick rave smoke with the sweat dripping from the roof and the smell of weed and poppers in the air I only see Kieth on stage, didn't know him at all and the news affected me a lot, same age and i was going through a tough time but i cant imagine what its like for you all.My sincere condolences Rest easy Mr Flint x

I love the fact they made the switch to a proper drummer for gigs. Pop Will Eat Itself made a similar switch in the 90s, recruiting Fuzz Townsend, who most people will know as the mechanic from Car SoS
