Funny I see your comment and I'm wondering how I can feel that special and then I go to like the video eventually and its the 1000th like lol so hey! Glad to be on your level gaga
Met this guy at work. Extremely humble and introduced himself, handshake and all, even to someone like me with barely any placements or credibility. Legend in the game.
He was just nominated for a Grammy for best non-classical producer for his work on the Harlow and Kendrick records respectively. If he doesn’t win it’d be a crime.
2:09 you couldn’t find it because it’s not actually from the song CREAM, it’s Timbaland singing the song, not sure where they sampled that from though, think it was an old interview if not him doing it himself
basicly boi 1onda created the reverbed atmspheric vocals over ambiant pain melodies. thats over usded today... damn lol in a minute by lil baby does remind me of poundcake thats crazy asfuck
Glad that were showing love to people behind the scenes and the beat makers who make are favorite artist who they are today Boi-1da definitely one of the top tier producers in the game for a while he’s made Drake who he is today along with 40 and others so many different styles
Just to clarify some facts, Boi 1da didn't actually make Pound Cake. A producer named Jordan Evans did who sent it to Boi 1da and he played it for Drake, . Boi 1da just added different drums per Drakes request. Also that Wu Tang sample isn't Wu Tang its Timbaland doing that with his own voice which is insane. Okay I'm done, great breakdowns though I love your videos.
I never thought about this I have sound in my head I can hum but can't play ...just get someone to play it duh genius I thought that was cheat but whatever
Great vid really enjoyed, the Wu Tang sample your looking for is not from there recording. It is the beat boxer from the Roots. He does it on the 2000 Woodstock show. It’s on one of there albums also but don’t rem. Legendary performance by the roots crew special guest Erykah Badu
That was the producer Timbaland saying the "Cash Rules Everything Around Me". Which is recited by Method Man in the original. But I'm sure someone brought this up.
