I've only just found this and what a treat! Thank you. I love the music and how you've married it to the action. Can't believe we are not the youngsters we used to be but Bodie and Doyle will never grow old.
Great double act. I was very glad to know Clemens and Fennell replaced Anthony Andrews, who is a vey good actor indeed, but, replaced him with Lewis Collins. There was a great balance, they worked off each very well, with Gordon Jackson looking after and ordering his boys with a no-nonsense attitude. Great show, well loved, great music by Laurie Johnson. Each episode offered something different pushing the lads through their paces. Would have been good if they had done a film version, like The Sweeney did. The New Professionals had no where near the feel and excitement brought by Martin Shaw and Lewis Collins. After a couple og episodes i lost interest of that one but liked Edward Woodward.
