Professor idk if ur gonna read this but i didnt really know what streetball was till i saw u. Man u do some sick ass tricks that i cant even think of doing. Ur too good man and i hope to meet u soon! TX
professor, you are my inspiration. im 13 and about to start playing basketball thanks yo you, so thank you for giving me motivation on taking this journey.
KyleYT15 FlexiaJay Kickgenius has a pretty cool youtube channel. Just checked it out, hadn't heard of them before. The kid is 21 I believe. No offense to him but I wouldn't challenge any amateurs to 1 on 1. Not putting him down, but meaning amateur in the sense that he's not a professional. A, because its pointless(nothing to gain) and B, because he's almost 10 years younger than me. And to set the record straight street ball is basketball it just has flair to it and is targeted towards being uptempo/entertianing. I've played in college, IBL, overseas and CBA(D league before the D League). Every player on my current Ball Up team has played D1 or D2 college ball and/or professionally aside from streetball. So the thought that street ball is a total separate sector from regular ball is a myth. Different incentive but not far from the same. Thanks for supporting this channel guys!
Lucas Prach Well he has plenty of times, i've never seen him dunk in game, but i have followed The Professor for like 8 years and he's been able to dunk for a long time.
nellek970 lol well then i'm willing to bet have more hops than I do. I didn't start dunking until I was in college. And If you'll notice when I dunk I just barely get up enough to clear the rim. In essence, I have to palm the ball to be able to dunk because I am not high enough to just go off momentum. thanks for checking out the video.
IWIAINITIEID51 Charlie Tuakura Aerochalklate Thanos Arg Its not a matter of my playing style. When I play in Streetball games the goal of those games is to entertain the crowd. Thats the reason street ball touring exists. They are 1 off exhibition games. In this workout vid, i'm working on my street ball game. Conventional style basketball is the core of any type of HIGH LEVEL basketball. Ive played in highschool, college, IBL, Overseas and CBA(D League before the D League). The reason I stopped pursuing the NBA in 2008 is for 2 reasons. 1) I realized that since I didn't come from a D1 school I would have to take the back door to the NBA(which could mean years put in overseas). 2) I realized I would have to give up street ball which I had already developed a decent rep/fanbase with. So I wasn't willing to quit what i had going in street ball to MAYBE make the NBA in my late 20's. And at the point I realized that I was 25. I believe street ball is my true calling in life and wouldn't change a thing. Thought this might give some clarity to your guys convo. Thanks for supporting the channel guys!
He could play iso if he plays in the nba all star game. But, he has to be an allstar to be in it. They play iso on all three quarters, then it gets intense at the last quarter. Even shaq was able to do a simple cross over because they let him do it for a moment.
Hey professor I was wondering how I could get the super human handles. I am only 13 and I'm trying to get better and when I did the email to sign up it wasn't working and I have tried so many times I was wondering if u could please help me out so I could try and win. Thank you.
You can't play iso every ball possession in the nba. Even irvin struggles. Not to mention, can he take a body contact and still finish a layup or shot? They could injure him and call it a common foul. Nba is a physical sport. One hack from shannon brown injured dwight howard's shoulder. Professor can be the next brandon knight when he meets a wall like deandre jordan. Oh yes. There would be a time, whether it's a screen play, that a pg would unfortunately stuck guarding a center.
Even if becomes a legit nba player, he'll be on reserve playing at the beginning of second quarter, garbage time, or as a last resort due to starters/main players being fouled out or injured. He'll be like the old jason kidd, who can pass and shoot threes, but scratch your heads off if he can actually penetrate to the basket while being waited by a pf or a center guarding the rim. And, this is no iso plays. Can he defend against norris cole or derrick rose? Those guys are pgs, but they slash towards the basket like a small forward or pfs with body contacts and making an and1 for a free throw.
Dunking in an open gym setting is way different than dunking in a game. I have a decent vert but not crazy to the point where I can just take off at any point. Not right now at least.
Professorlive did u know tdub? he's also on ballup.. he's 5'9 but maybe one of the best dunker in the world. but i don't think he can ball ,like u.,only dunk..
