Dear Peanut Butter Crew, I watched all your videos in like 3 days and after 4 years of bmx absence i bought my bmx yesterday! Im now 28 y.o and its weird to see 12 y.o kids making tracks, whips and all stuff that i can only dream of. Anyways thank you for your content. You guys made me come back, thank you again! :)
yep that's pretty spot on I'm getting the MTB version so 32 hole only and its around $560 USD including shipping to my town so in Australia it comes about $850 AUD
I forgot to say this in the last comment, - keep doing what your doing Adam, you help a lot of people out including me and you put me in the mood to ride, even though I could never be as good as you. Thank you.
i know nothing about BMX hubs or BMX in general, but i think every extreme sport is incredibly entertaining and interesting, so Adam thanks for making these awesome videos dude, they are both entertaining and informative !
Adam I skate but love your videos and want to get a bike but I have like no money, so I just wanted to tell you that I think some people don't even ride bikes but love watching your videos. So keep up the great work! And shout out to Oxford skaters and bikers :)
ON AN UNRELATED NOTE! Adam, if you're gonna do tours, include the ASEAN countries please! Like the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan! Etc. Do visit your fans here in the continent of Asia. I'm from the Philippines and a lot of my buddies idolize you, and the BMX scene here is quite dope! :)
mate we all started out on mongooses (mongeese? Mong Geeses?) and diamond backs, and I'm talking even back in the nineties. It's a time-worn route into BMX, no need to feel stupid
Two years ago it was a competition as to who had the loudest hub. Then it was quitest hub with free coaster. Now it's the best of both worlds for those people in the competition
Dude you should stop in South Jersey during a road trip between Florida and Connecticut or something, I'd be stoked to meet you, you've got me into bmx again and its awesome
Hey Adam do you think maybe one day you could make a video for the people that have just bought a bike for the first time, sort of explain the most important things to get comfortable with when riding parks and just riding in general. Sort of like a beginners guide to flowing a park and learning the early tricks etc.
You should really try to come to Lebanon Oregon!!! It would be a pleasure because we just got a new park that was built on nothing but donations and built by volunteering skaters and bmxers
Adam, when you come to England, make sure you do a Nottingham trip and come to Clifton and let me know when you do because I would love to meet you. :-)
If only they can make a hub with sound and pedal pressure and the ability to fakie like a coaster with out having to crank back like the z coaster, oohhh that would be sexy
Dude if you wanna travel you should visit Williamsport PA! All of the riders here love watching you're vids, we all suck but hey why not. I'd love to meet and ride with you as well as many of my friends here, please consider it!
If youre coming to Canada come to Ottawa!! Nations capital with a lot of good street riding downtown and a new indoor bike park (called epic) thats 53 000 sq feet. Hell i may even be able to find you a place to stay. Close to Toronto and Montreal too
The Colony free coaster isn't to bad either if you're after affordability! but obviously the Z coaster would be a preferred choice for many! sick video Adam as per usual
There are enough videos telling you how to do this already..no offence to LZ but I watched his "how to make your hub louder" video years back and remember thinking "I really hope kids realise this dudes not a mechanic and don't do this".
Nah kids have been fan buying over profile hubs forever their light were like the first hubs with one piece drivers I think and were really popular back in the days when bmx racing was bigger.
yep, profile hubs have been used steadily in park and street for a long time. And their cranks used to be the best you could get, we're talking £270 back in the 90's
illiterate thug not so much street except further back in the day. they also kinda got notorious for being very hit or miss in recent years though i also bought an old one the ss high flange hub and yeah its old as fuck and never been rebuilt, its the same design as the primo mix cassette hub but with a lighter hub shell and a slightly more hollowed out axle. now adays its mostly hype weight the loud engagement and being trendy. there are better hub designs now. their cranks also seemed to have dropped in quality someone gave me a decade old pair of profiles back in the mid 2000's and theyre still going strong however my buddy bought multiple sets of newer profile cranks starting in the mid 2000's and yeah they break, i broke a pair and i managed to get away with riding a god damn first generation macneil blazer fork for street for like 2-3 years.
Here's an interesting concept that might blow your mind:.ever thought of trying out a fixed wheel hub? Circus performers use these so it would mean a whole new level of skiLZ
LZ BMX Can you please come to western Australia we have some pretty sick parks as well as getting a new one built now with a 16 foot deep bowl that has 2 feet of vertical. And can you bring Bert. thank you for all the great vids keep em up.
i love profile and the loud noise because its the best sound on earth but i can never afford one is there a low priced one. also your new smurf splatter is awesome i'm going to try to get a hat.
It's a different idea and hopefully some more ideas will come out of it. I'm the exact opposite with Profile though - I've had 4 rear hubs and they all broke and chewed themselves up in under 6 months to a year. I don't trust them anymore, especially since they are the most expensive on the market.
i dont see why people have so much problems with free coasters ive had the demolition rotator for over a year havent touched it since i bought it and its solid.
+LZ BMX could we get your thoughts on the elites? For cassette riders, why minis over elites? Just cost? Too much engagement? No one really has reviewed the elites.
Question... Adam if you ride with headphones, Surely you wouldn't be able to hear when it's clicking or if it's in free coaster mode. To me that would put me off buying it, would rather just have a casset or a free coaster to know what's going to happen when I land?
Ns Bike Rotary single pro 10 tooth driver Jungle colorway $420 Canadian with tax and the Profile elite single speed hub $470 on the low side but with shipping $500!
Question!! if you are free coasting backwards, then pedal back a bit so your cranks are perpendicular to the floor, then you crank forward, will the casset engage?? because that would a way to be able to 5 cab on a z-coaster
Question, if you buy 75˚ slack cam thing does that mean when you start pedalling you need to pedal more until you start moving or are they all the same?
Hey LZ can you do a video letting us know when you are going to Canada I would like to come see you if you come down here thank and keep up the great riding
