This is what happens when business owners try to live above their means.

The 1st fire, the one at the warehouse, was probably a real fire that happened by accident. But a 2nd fire to the same business with a hefty amount given from the insurance company, is very suspicious. Especially considering both fires have unknown origins.

Hmmm, the mother and father seem like sociopaths. Wow! The Dad is trying to blame Marcus for not doing research ahead of time to find out that they were scamming the employees for money while they live it up. Hope the daughter was able to start over somewhere far away, but she seems headed down the same road as her parents.

I don't think Swanson was capable of running the business. He inherited it from his father and ran it into the ground because he was more about using the business as a piggy bank and not respecting the business. I worked in a family business and the daughter and son didn't know what they were doing but they always made sure they got their 6 figure salaries and had nice cars.
