While I do like the Broadway version of you happened , I feel like this one shows us more of Emma’s and Alyssa’s relationship.

So....anyone else watching this in 2021? Also, I just love the fact that Alyssa's like "How dare you try and bring yourself down?! No!"

While I love this, the connection between izzy and caitlin is just so much stronger. It's amazing

I love how every time Emma puts herself down Alyssa says no getting louder every time she says it like she's trying to emphasize her point that Emma is everything but to her xxx

I see 4 Mean Girls cast members in the ensemble. I wish they kept this version. The way Alyssa looks at Emma during Emma’s verse is my favorite thing ever!

I doubt it'll happen but I would love to see Caitlin and Izzy perform this version together!

As much as I love Izzy, I love the innocence that Anna brings to the role, it is much more high school

i have this copy of their pre broadway in atlanta, and the amount of cute kisses they did was amazing. i still believe izzy and caitlin’s chemistry is top tier, but theirs is the second one for me.

i love that there is a growing amount of non straight couples in musicals! i just saw Head Over Heels recently and I'm glad theater is more diverse than film! (even in film, particularly when there are lesbians, they are often misrepresented)

Ok, so I don't know how the plot works in the show, but...I could almost see this version of the song being used as well as the one now used. This one could be used as a "video" attached to the article that drew the Broadway stars to the town, and the other could be used the same way, just called a reprise or part 2. Again, no background on show minus what I learned from cast recording but still.
