Fascinating stuff that many artists -and collectors have never heard of (to my dismay). Monet, as masterful as he was, I can’t separate his antisemitism from his work: A schism between the most renowned artists of the day, had an impact on how new movements were formed, what they painted, choices that critics, galleries, collectors etc made (But I stray🙄) Again, thank you for this.
