Believe it or not, he was serious as can be... but he was loving the attention. So why not film and encourage him? He lived right next to this track back then and was good friends with the owner; I wouldn't necessarily say we were "making fun" of him too badly.

I personally think its kind of messed up. The kid didn't have any gear. In the video no one mentioned giving him gear. Hes lucky he didn't get seriously injured. I used to have a lot of respect for Sean Hackley but after this all respect is lost.

So a bunch of dudes take a kid that may be a little slow, let him go full throttle off jumps with nearly no gear, and just laugh about it? Either this guy is a terrific actor, or these group of assholes needs to be charged with endangerment. Who in their right fuckin mind encourages this shit without taking the proper precautions. We've lost to many young lives to needlessly throw more into the dumpster just for laughs. I realize this video is old, but this is not a good example to set.
