She straightens her hair like many other black women and men also do. I think they use hot combs, and her tan is natural, she is black if anything she would use skin bleach like Michael J. Little Kim and many other black celebrities
I think Rachel was offended by being treated *the same as the rest of the team* on "Deal or No Deal". She wasn't "special". Her tone of voice sounds particularly offended when she says "We would line up." (her voice actually lowers when she says those words). She also begins her story by saying "All the girls" & only includes herself in the group afterwards, by adding "we". Subconsciously, she is distancing herself from the rest of the girls, with her choice of words. *She is not a team player. She clearly feels that she was "above" the other girls.*
She also said she has a degree in international relations from northwestern. She has a degree in international studies,a different degree. Too smart for a tv show, not smart enough to know what she was doing for those three years.
And yet “she NEVER Googled Harry”. before meeting/knowing him. No wonder there wasn’t an invitation to Oprah’s birthday or get togethers from other celebrity to parties or gatherings. Not even the Met Gala 😅
Nor has anyone asked about Northwestern not answering whether she graduated from there but stated there is no such combination major as ‘International Relations and Drama’. The only pictures of a graduation is from High School. Once she got suspended for using super glue to put on her sorority sister’s false eyelashes, there is no proof she ever went back. Thomas Markle Sr paid those girls and her uncle Mike then paid for a six week Internship Program in Buenos Aires. She had an affair with a married officer and he supposedly lost his commission and she was sent back home. It’s unfortunate there’s no degree for ‘Markling’ because she spreads THAT everywhere she goes.
The 34 episodes were all taped in NINE days. She worked for that show for NINE days before she reportedly wouldn't stop flirting with the host and was fired. I believe it.

I relate to you : at first, I was an admirer of MM and believed she could be a new electing the RF. Then, I watched her engagement interview. Red flags: obvious lies and simpering demeanor. The Oprah interview killed any admiration or belief in this complaining, entitled gold digger.

Saw a clip on Ellen, interviewing Howie Mandel (host of deal or no deal), who said that he was invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding, but that it didn’t feel right to accept. Such a puzzle, and I’m all astonishment. Howie didn’t look comfortable, so perhaps the invitation was Meghan saying, “look where I am now!” Imagine if M had used her platform for good, instead of making a mockery of both the Royals, then, after leaving, to take revenge on all the perceived slights going back to whenever. It’s so sad.

Her podcast is the “voice” she always wanted where she can put forth flawed arguments and have NO ONE around to question her. Bring in someone who calls you out, have a respectful pow wow with them, then it may be a good podcast. Only once, Mariah pushed back the word “diva” and the conversation literally evaporated and apologies ensued. This soap boxing is wearing on me. Also, Hollywood doesn’t want her because real actresses lose themselves in the role whereas Meghan uses roles to color her image. Simple. Can you imagine Meghan giving a breakthrough performance for example, as a maid or troubled drug addict or an introverted awkward scientist- in say, a flawless natural southern accent? Can you? No. Do that! Humble us with some real talent! Give us something good to talk about and we’ll forget all about Deal or No Deal. Stop with the fake philanthropy and put on a real artistic hat if you’re capable. We will respect you. She doesn’t have the talent or range other than her sanctimonious breathy valley girl accent and a winning cunning beige character. You didn’t quit acting, Meghan; the industry quit you.
I don't think Meghan would like a job or feel comfortable with it if she couldn't show her beauty. She's afraid of looking plain. She wanted to be a celebrity, not an actor. She could have done off off Broadway or something. That is what most notable actors have done. The only role she knew how to play was based on her sexuality.
The snag is she doesn't have the talent or skills to do anything else - looks, posing & pouting, delivering word salad and trying to copy real women of substance. The outside shell is all she has, and that's not marketable for long. Taz has pointed out that there are plenty of women who were essentially child stars who went on to study for a degree - real women like Natalie Portman, Emma Watson, both extremely talented actresses who proved their worth but decided to develop their brains as well. The most cringeworthy aspect of Meghan's current behaviour is how she's trying to whitewash her 'past' - she overlooks the fact that we, the observing public, are neither as naive nor as gullible as the thinks we are. We see through the lies, the hypocrisy and the vacuousness dressed up as whatever her flavour of the day is supposed to be. The pit is getting ever deeper, and she refuses to let go of the shovel.

She wasn’t really serious about a diplomatic career anyway, but she just had a six week internship and then took and failed that exam. But she didn’t leave because of the exam; she left because the stint was over. I think.

I am Caucasian a mix of blonde and ginger, my mom was a red haired woman. I got two different curvatures on my hair, my forehead is frizzy and the other half is curly. No one is 100% 'pure' unless, somewhere in the world we don't know and; the people there never had contact with the world.

I’m a teacher. I worked at a school last year that treated me like absolute shit. There is no way in hell I would ever return to an environment like that for the sake of my mental health. As an adult I think that the women who worked at Deal/no deal most be talented people. I’m a California and know a few people that are in the industry. It’s hard to get jobs that good. They not only expected you to have nice hair, nails, and tanned skin but pay for it themselves. For those starting out that is a great help to land other jobs. What did they do-take back the nails at the end of filming? Good tanning can be hundreds of dollars maintain. Plus personal I like to look back on actors careers. “She/he is a a big star now but remember when they were on the_____ or was the _____.” Now I was a kid when this came out and saw a few episodes. I wasn’t thinking how dumb these women are but how lucky to get this job. Remember Vanna White on Wheel of Fortune? I think that was what the show was aiming for. Beautifully smart women to play off the host. The likes of Jeannette McCurdy and Dove Cameron have my sympathy. While MM gets an eye roll. So far her stories about the industry and the public back than during her career do not reach the trauma of just one of these two and part of me is your a grown up if you didn’t like the job look for another.

I like Paris a lot. I went back and watched Simple Life as an adult and was so surprised how good and kind she was even while actively playing a very specific persona. She was supposed to act spoiled, selfish, like an airhead, oblivious, crass. But even then her ACTUAL character showed many times. Especially in her interactions with locals and the friends/family where she was staying. She couldn't hold the facade and at times, wouldn't. No matter how defined the description of her SL Character was supposed to be, the spoiled socialite, she never once behaved in a way that gave the impression that she sees herself as "better" than the townsfolk in the rural places they would film. Way later, the families that they filmed with only had good things to say about Paris. They don't, however, feel that way about Nichole. I fully believe she is a kind, compassionate, brainiac of a woman.
