Numbers do not merely have a quantitative nature, but also a qualitative one (for Pythagoras they were divine). Numbers have life, they are not just symbols on paper. Several philosophers, alchemists and mystics throughout history have associated religious or mystical ideas to numbers.
In ancient times, people associated mystical meaning to words and names based on their numerical value, which became the basis for 20th century numerology that seeks to understand personality through numbers. Carl Jung describes number as the most primitive archetype (the archetype of order), which provides a vital link between matter and psyche (united by the unus mundus).
Psychologically, the most primitive numbers are 1 to 4, which form the basis for all the rest of the numbers, and as such it is not surprising that they are the most recurring ones in the psyche. These remarkably symbolise the human creation myth and the purpose of life. To paraphrase Pythagoras, “Number rules the universe.”

You'd be surprised by how little numbers come up in mathematics, once you reach undergraduate level. At the very least, when approaching the fundamentals of mathematics, the numbers are just one of many sets, groups, rings or other systems that mathematicians study in more general terms.

When I have studied the Bible in the past, it lead me to learn quantum physics, I don't care for numbers and math, however I'm interested in a lot of things that end up having to do with numbers in one way or another. I have discovered,for me at least, that faith is always a variable, it explains more about quantum physics than I've read so far .... Weird how numbers can tell a story, show a path, simply 2 numbers can be binary code that explains so much..... And that's all great and stuff, but there's it's equal, which is love, when love is a variable not all things are possible, however Greater yes " greater" things are possible. That's fantastic!

I’m a musician and an occultist, and this tickles my brain. Western music has 12 notes and generally arranges scales into 7 or 5 notes. It’s not that there aren’t other scales, but you can practically play most pop music with this in mind.

You may already know this but.....We presently tune to 440hz.... And this was changed from 432hz in mid 1800s. 432hz is a segment of the Schuman Resonance (frequency of this planet) Why was it changed? That's a mystery. They provide A reason but I don't believe it. 🌎🌬️🔥💧

As a person that grew up despising math and along with it numbers, your video seems to have opened my eyes to a whole new world. I had never thought of numbers in any other way than basic math as a means to measure something, but never the meaning behind what numbers are themselves. The numbers are another way of the universe expressing itself and showing us its ins and outs. Its like its talking with us and explaining itself. Absolutely mental. Why was any of this never explained in school? I have a feeling it would create a deeper connection and understanding of numbers.

As someone who has always loved maths, struggled in other subjects I have grown to know, love and understand in my adult years ; I can tell you with CERTAINTY modern day public education does not teach these subjects coherently or logically or creatively. It’s deliberate. Read tect books from 70’s … further back you go, the easier and more enjoyable it is to understand.

Srinivasa Ramanujan said that mathematics is God’s language of creation. Learning about him helped me pass math classes I had despaired of ever learning! His calculations were used to develop the calculations for DNA-and has helped free innocent people from prison. God’s work for sure! His life and work are interesting and worth a study! ♥️✌️

The expression of numerical qualities is, in my view, the only known qualities of sorcery known to function in a common, applicable way. In many cases, like with time, numbers are really only a concept of conscious invention - base 10 or any other base numberical isn't objective reality, it's a categorization filter that makes sense to the human mind. In that sense, mathematics truly is a form of magick. I also tend to see the essence of that which we understand to be numerical equations and laws as being fundamentally the signature of God.

I don't consider myself a strict materialist by any means. As I get older, I'm less of a materialist. However, I am a programmer and I deal with math constantly. I'm also a fan of neuroscience. Us humans are pattern-seeking beings. The question will never be settled if math is discovered or invented. However, assigning meaning to numbers is too subjective of an issue to be particularly useful to anyone. I see things like 111,111,111^2 and think, well that's a neat trick. It's meaningless, however. It's simply another number. We want to see something there, but there is nothing. This is like the face on Mars. It was just a geological formation. We want there to be patterns everywhere so that we feel like we have some control in our environment, but we're just helpless creatures in a seemingly infinite void where statistically improbable things will certainly always happen with enough time and chances. What might blow your mind is the introduction to other base numeral systems besides 10. What about base 2, base 16, or base 20? These numeral systems don't produce the same results of the mathematics shown in this video. Maybe you think 0xB00B is funny, but it's just 45,067 in base 10. I understand the metaphysical concepts behind this, but I just see no utility beyond a sort of mental masturbation exercise in this.

Im researching this stuff so i can write a Pantheon of gods, all of whom 'represent' the numbers; from 1-9. Turns out, numerology is a great source of ideas! If nothing else, that's a utility use.

I've always found some fascination in the deeper meaning of numbers from a young age. Even to this day I have an obsession of doing things in 3s. I see numbers everywhere where most won't think to look twice. Makes owning a classic wrist watch much more fascinating.
