Hello Linda. Sorry for the late reply. My favourite time of year here is June. It's such a perfect time to visit. Talking about Manchester, I used to work for Kelloggs a few years ago but their European office.
I don't recognise any of those pubs from when I lived in Gib, but that was back in the late 1950's. Main Street is barely recognisable to me and Casemate Square has also changed out of recognition. I don't know if it's the camera you are using, or whether all the new buildings have made Main Street narrower, but when I lived out there, the street was wide enough for two vehicles to pass.
Thanks for the comment Russ! I was looking up pubs from even the 1970's and most of these places didn't exist. It is absolutely true that only one car can pass through Main Street and thats a stuggle. The fact 2 cars could pass on Main Street absolutely boggles my mind. But they have completely pedestrianed Main St. And also there are loads of Anti Terrorism concrete blocks running the length of Main St, so the street now is pretty impenetrable.
