The Pulitzer Prize - Icons of their time 

THIS VIDEO:The Pultzer prize is one of the most prestigious photography awards. Every year since 1942 impactful photographs have been chosen because of the dramatic stories they tell. Many of the award winners are fairly gruesome so I won’t be able to display those on RU-vid. I’ll talk about the stories behind some of the images - what the broader contexts were leading up to the moment the picture was taken and also what has been revealed about the events after the award was presented. Newspaper owner, Joseph Pulitzer created the award to honour outstanding journalistic achievements

ABOUT ME: The conversations focus on topics related to different aspects of photography including: art, documentary and photojournalism. The discussions explore the personal experiences of photographers and artists and how their work reflects both their internal and external landscape.
