I've seen The Purge movies and I've been thinking why they never show what happens the day after the purge. It must be so awkward talking to your neighbor's impossibly your boss that you tried to kill when it was legal on Purge night. Can you imagine the contention of your neighbor's and employers because you tried to kill your boss so that you would get promoted, because they were dead on Purge night. And now you didn't succeed, and now you have to go and then tie your year in the same proximity as them

People say that if purge was a real thing ,not as many people would go out on a murder rampage as shown in the movie. I think that if the purge did exist, people would be more concentrated on looting and robbing other than killing. Concieveablly murdering people on the way. But this raises a couple of questions. A lot of questions. Do I pay tax on the money that I earned during the purge? Is there like a purge sale? If I steal a car, do I have to get it registered the next morning?are there purge insurances? Insurance is a whole different thing here. Imagine the damage caused to property, vihicles and lifes. I am sure most insurance companies would go out of business. And what about parts of America that are over the international dateline? They would have a purge the day before? So can you have 2 purges if you just travel around? And I am sure people who don't want to get killed would just get the f out of America. Or maybe they are safe camps equipment with guards and tanks, you pay them and stay there over the night . Like a hotel. People would just build fucking bunkers! And yes, the amount of revenge murdering that would go on the next day is insane.

lol, great video...I have wondered about the aftermath of a Purge-style event before. what happens at 7am exactly? if you've been stalked by a psycho (or even worse, your neighbour) for a couple of hours and finally get into a battle to the death with garden implements on the front lawn at 6:55, do you both simply down tools and shrug it off when the siren goes off? there are so many potentially weird/awkward scenarios that could come out of a Purge. 🤤🤤

What if you kill someone inside your house and got no time left to dispose of the body. Now its 7am and you got a corpse lying in your living room. What do you do? Picking it up and throwing it on the street would probably be a crime. Soo... do you call 911 and ask them to get it? What do you say? "Yeah, I shot him... but BEFORE 7am, I swear..."

So reading the comments below im amazed on how many people actually dont know why the purge was created. The movie is actually not about everyone getting there aggression out on one night only and live happy for 364 days. That is what the government or NFFA said to sell it to the people. And the movie sells us the cover story of killing for pur entertainment. The actual point of the storyline and clearly shows in the first ever movie is that the idea behind the purge is that the poor people die out. The government does not want to support them anymore so there killing each other anyways so why not make it 1 day a yr where its legal and they will get wiped out faster because more people will participate. Also the poor cant afford security or protection like the rich people can. They feel a richer county is a better country.

Since watching the first purge I've actually been wondering what the next day must be like. Like imagine being the employer knowing 1 or more of your employees killed or tried to kill you amd your family. Or some such thing.

Simple reason the purge must have rules or would never work: If I steal a car during the purge, do I have to: Return it at 7am? Get the victim to sign the title over? Prove I stole it during the purge and not at 7:02am? Not drive it after 7am until I get insurance on it? You break a murderer out of prison on purge night and after the purge he kills 17 people not during the purge and is caught. Are you now an accessory to those crimes? This is why such legislation would never pass to start with, too many what ifs you have to write into law.

The premise of this video exposes exactly why the entire premise of The Purge is ridiculous and would never work. The movie pretends as though one night of “purging” gets everyone’s aggression out, and sublimates the aggression that would otherwise cause crime all year long. It ignores the fact that for the rest of the year, there would be unimaginable amounts of resentment and hostility. A one-night free-for-all would cause the society to be utterly crippled for the rest of the year. And there would be no reason at all to believe that people would refrain from violence in retribution on the other 364 days.
