Self-Realization Fellowship monk Brother Nakulananda shares wisdom from Paramahansa Yogananda on how we can fulfill the highest purpose of life - to know the Divine within ourselves.
Paramahansa Yogananda said: “You will come to know that God is ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new Bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda). And you will realize that to have that Bliss is the purpose of life, the goal of your existence.”
Brother Nakulananda reminds us that all of humanity is in a “school of life.” The lessons that life offers are meant to make us stronger, to build our spiritual muscles, and to help us learn compassion, humility, and other spiritual qualities - which, along with the practice of meditation, lead us ultimately to the highest fulfillment of union with the Divine.
