I will be back 🙏 (Note: The translation of Momin I gave at 7:17 is incorrect. The origins of the word Momin are more decisively related to the word "aman.")
bro i recently bought nietzche's beyond good and evill after seeing this video , but it's a very tough to understand, could help me out how to understand it fully and easily?
When knowledge meets creativity😍.... wowww a very high quality content why you have stopped making videos this generation needs a RU-vidr like you who explains such tough topics in simple and interesting ways i have consumed uncountable content in the form of reading, videos, lectures, podcast, etc on such deep topics but every time i get into it i am getting more confused but for the very first time i listen to a content creator who explained in such a intersting easy yet effective way never saw video like this. please start uploading content like this again 🙏
Übermensch frees himself from the shackles of religious and cultural norms that stops itself from attaining glory whereas Mard e Momin frees himself from the shackles of worldly pleasures. Übermensch is on a mission to make his outer correct whereas Mard e Momin is more concerned about his inner self. Iqbal might’ve got inspired from Nietzsche but their supermen ( Mard e Momin and Übermensch) have a varying degree of differences. Iqbal and Nietzsche both provided a solution to end our sufferings. East got its inspiration from Iqbal, whereas west got inspired from Nietzsche. Btw. Very nice and informative video . Thank you very much for sharing this .
A little oversimplistic of both ideas. The ubermensche does need discipline and to say away from worldly pleasures and Mard E Momin also needs to free himself from the shakles of religious and cultural norms. The difference is in how they create meaning. The Ubermensche lives in the abyss, where most people fall into despair without having God to give them meaning. Mard e Momin is a co-creator and viceregent of God.

The Hadith: Three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to inquire about the worship of the Prophet. When they were informed about it, they considered their own worship insignificant and said, "Where are we in comparison with the Prophet while Allah has forgiven his past and future sins?" One of them said, "I will offer prayer throughout the night forever." The other said, "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from women and will never marry." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to them and said, "Are you the people who said such-and-such? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I pray and sleep, and I also marry women. So, he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)." References: -Sahih Bukhari, Book 62, Hadith 1 - Sahih Muslim, Book 12, Hadith 5076

I am very impressed Usama. I literally didn't know you are so talented. However, I would like to correct you about the difference in Neitzsche and Iqbal. Iqbal didn't take this concept from Neitzsche. Iqbal himself rejected this notion in his life. I would think Iqbal has taken this idea from Soren Kierkegaard but again I came to know Iqbal didn't took this from Kierkegaard as well. Iqbal took this concept from "Perfect Man" in Sufi Doctrine especially from the writings of Abdul Karim Al-Jili. Iqbal had written his article on this concept in 1900, fifteen years before he wrote Asrare Khudi. Furthermore, Neitzsche's philosophy has nothing to do with any moral life. He wants such race of humanity who excercises its will instead of emotion or reason. Hitler might be the perfect example of his Ubermensch. For Iqbal, Momin is the one who has ordained himself with all the qualities of God. The momin has both Jamal(beauty, spiritual attraction) and Jalal (Assertive power of Almighty) through which he strives to create a society based on the principles of Quran. Although the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a messenger of Allah but he is also the Perfect Man(Momin) of Sufi's and Iqbal.

@syedmuhammadshaheerismail if your beliefs are shaped by self interest (fear of hell) and not entirely for Allah, then its indeed denial of God. But its true, fear of hell is very necessary as mentioned in the Qur'an
In indian kashmir there is a famous sufi know as sheikh Noor din wali , one of his quote is(loog khuda ki ibadat karta hai jannat panna kay liya aur jahannam ke khoof ke liye koi ibaadat nahi karta ki khuda ibadat ke layak hi) people worship allah for desire to go to jannah and fear of going to hell, no one worship allah because allah worthy of worship.
I swear to god i kept avoiding this video on my fyp!! but now I regret not watching this before. Great job brother. The details are just above perfect.
I think this's one of the fundamental questions everyone should ask not to external world but to himself and understand life through our own perceptions. There's no proper answer to this question neither in philosophy nor in science. Though some great men tried to explain this thing through their own perspective and fallowers of them tried to justify their sayings by giving different arguments and build a narrative that it's the final truth but here I want to go with Kant that we can't say anything, there can be arguments in favour and against both but we can't reach a definite conclusion because we're just a limited beings . whatsoever we've achieved till now is just phenomenal and places us above our fallow living beings but that can't diminish the truth that we're just a more advanced animals and nothing more. Though by agreeing to some thought we can satisfy ourselves that we got the truth but what's real truth is only just a speculation by human mind, for human mind and to the human mind.

Islam is the response to humanity's search for meaning. The purpose of creation for all men and women for all times has been one: To know and worship Allah SWT. Quran 51: 56 I have not created the jinn, the spirits, nor the human beings, for any other purpose except to worship Me.”

In regards to what you said about sufis and how cutting out the seven deadly sins from your life is the only way to cut that fake god out of yourself, I think this is why Astaghfar and worship is so necessary in islam."What stands between a believer and disbelief is the abandonment of Salah." A person will never be able to cut these things out of himself completely. Heck, if you plan on living a normal life this would still be impossible. God knows this and does not expect us all to dress and act and turn into sufis. Instead of putting all of our efforts on trying to rid ourselves of our humanity and human flaws, it would be better to put that work in repentance and worship and asking for forgiveness even if one hasn't done anything wrong according to themselves. This consistent Astaghfar is the antidote to ones Nafs.
You are what we Pakistanis needs. Pls get your content more views. And regarding Iqbal's momin, i recommend you reading "reconstruction of religious thought in islam" where iqbal told in detail how a true momin should question his existence. He also is one the few people oh his time to agree with Einstein's thoery of relativity. People think iqbal is a poet but people dont know that he did had degree on philosophy and was well educated man. He has read history, philosophy, astronomy, science and religion. I qoute his verse "Only man is one who dares to see, Dares to see God to face to face" Telling that man is the one to challenge to find God in of all existence.

What makes us different and the best of all is the ability to LOVE. Apne Khaliq aur uski makhlooq se mohabbat. Do whatever you do for the love of allah, and only for the love of allah. Katra manage jo tu usko dariya dede mujhko kuch aur na de apni tammana Dede.
Bro let me clear it for you, there's a great difference between a person who's Muslim and the person who's Momin! A person who believes in the reality of afterlife and knows that he have to give answer of his doings, he'll live his life in a very moderate manner, he'll do each n everything that will please Allah SWT and are according to Sunnah. He'll not live his life in fear that if I don't do five times prayer, give zakat, act kindly Allah will throw me into hell but ultimately Allah warns us that o my people, if you would do what saddens me(more likely the shirk , or gunnahe kabeera and gunnahe sagheera) I got to show you the results that you'll be not counted in The successful people but will be punished of your doings. At last, great video and great work, and I loved the part of The Batman series that portrays and summarizes the whole video. Very well
Tbh very valuable video... Please continue this playlist..... Tha way you are connecting different types of philosophy of different timeline is awesome. Mashallah...
Nice video bro, though I already know the meaning of my life and everything you said, when I started my journey to religion when I was 18 and it was also around that time I had existential crises and dread. Now I'm 20 I found Islam to be the truth and while I was finding the true religion and if god exists or not I also found the answer to the meaning of life. I will gonna say every human have different perspective on finding the answer but I(personally) found it through Islam Alhamdulillah, either way it's great to see another like minded Muslim who isn't under educated, May Allah persevere your intelligence. Ameen.
life was grey and colorless lately but this video is really gonna guide me now! I think I founded the meaning of life💞Can't thankyou in words this means Alot

Good explanation. But as a student of psychology I can say that Darr and Lalach is quite natural. And Qur'an itself emphasized a length over hell and paradise. Infact Qur'an described it as a main trait of momin that "they seek protection from hell" - Surah Furqan. However this is also true that on an individual level a person should think beyond hell/heaven. But this is to also remember that we human beings have different personality traits and abilities. We cannot expect everybody to think the same way. The major part is that one must make himself humble and submit to the will of Allah, because Allah *deserves* to be worshipped.
darr and lalach are natural,,,jani yehi to baat hai...we humans are not made perfect...our defualt settings are not best way to live. thats why we have to fight and conquer our nafs so that we dont fall into 7 deadly sins..and this constant change of setting , in other words..this constant fight with our nafs is our sacrifice in this absurdity of suffering of fate...asal insaan ka test yehi hai

I don't if you are still reading comments or no but this quote of Imam Ali perfectly defines the idea which brings solution to the things you said "I did not worship you because I am afraid of Hell, or out of greed for your Paradise. I have worshiped you because I found you worthy of being worshiped ( represents importantance of intellect" Imam Ali.

Correction: Anything, any belief which is bereft of logic, evidence, rational thinking and reason is called faith. Faith aqal se azad he hota hai, gentleman! Fredrick Nietzsche offered a profound critique of religions (faith). He argues that religions promote a denial of life, advocate for slave morality, and foster dogmatism and authority. He characterizes religious individuals (mullas and padrees etc) as “preachers of death” and “despisers of the body.” Sufi bhi body despisers hain. Nietzsche view religions as projections of human fears and anxieties. He challenges the notion of absolute truths claimed by religions, asserting that individuals create gods and religious systems to cope with their existential anxieties, using religion as a means to avoid confronting the harsh realities of life. Nietzsche believes that religions strip individuals of their freedom of thought, limit their capabilities, and ultimately suppress their potential. By imposing rigid moral codes and expectations, religions discourage independent thinking and critical questioning, leading to a mediocrity that stifles the human spirit. In Nietzsche’s view, this denial of life undermines the pursuit of greatness and self-overcoming. He advocates for a reevaluation of values, encouraging individuals to embrace their existence fully and to create their own meanings in a world where traditional religious frameworks are losing their authority. This philosophy emphasizes the importance of individual empowerment and the affirmation of life, allowing individuals to unlock their true potential and embrace their innate strengths. You misinterpreted/misrepresented Nietzsche ‘s concept of “Übermensch.” “Übermensch apny nafs se azad ha r na jaanty huy bhi Allah ko manta ha.” What is this nonsense ? This is some extreme level nonsensical gibberish. The Übermensch is someone who rejects the prevailing moral codes dictated by society, tradition, and religion. This freedom allows them to create their own values rather than adhering to imposed standards of right and wrong. They are free from rigid dogmas and ideologies that limit critical thinking and creativity. The Übermensch cultivates a mindset of questioning and exploration, leading to personal and intellectual growth. Pata ni Allah ko kab se manny laga Übermensch. Wo to God per bhi question krta ha unlike “you and your momin”. My friend, you are merely a part of a particular herd, lacking true liberation. Khud ko azaad krein aap. You are indeed an intallectchawwal. Q k aap ne Nietzsche ko parha to hai but samajh khakh ni aai. Also, apki video theek ha matlab buri ni hai utni but bhai thorhi surface level ha you know like superficial ha utni intellectual depth ni hai iss ma jitni logon ko nazar aarhi hai wo issliye q k log khud shallow hain bhai almiya dekho.
