The message of the song is that they don't need a man in their life to feel happy or be taken care of. There is a difference between being needing and wanting a man. Date a man because you WANT him in your life, not cause you're dependent of him to be complete or financially stable.

Well the huge secret to this one is we men definitely want this too, last I checked all these colognes were marked off on "desirability," not finding a "woman you can lead." If we haven't worked on ourselves to where we can perceive our own value beyond male=great_value. It's impossible to try and build off quicksand so having a partner who has self-confidence is actually way better than not, but daunting if you're not there. For example my mom hates banking and the whole experience so she does not do it, my dad's into business, but the both of them have never and will never tell other women especially to not have financial understanding and independence. My mother is a literal genius in genetic engineering and so my dad does all the banking since he enjoys it, and it's a no brainer. Also he has a about six decade long history of abhorrence towards preying on those weaker than you societally, and like religiously backed abhorrence. He took an entire company over to another continent, with all the employees, all legally, since the dude valued being able to pass that company to his kid. All because this dude implied my dad would do the same thing and he was bluffing. There is no such thing as trusting your safety off feelings that's actually madness.

Nah you could just call it timeless instead really, don't let us men get away with saying otherwise, because then we got to go through a lot of work to show that we're valuable beyond me=man=great_value. Man does it suck trying to understand and define yourself as a person to build up correctly. We like to do these aloof easy to maintain relationships with our fellow men, which we then say are more evolved and emotionally stable then the women who be catty, but in the end denial is just a long deep river full of crocodiles and nothing more. Even those of men who are in biochem, and understand fundamentally how emotion works in terms of cognition and recall, we can still somehow convince ourselves that we're right. Emotions cause a accelerant effect on recall so it's why learning to work through them effectively is doubly good. For example with this fresh new gender war you have all these supposed leaders who can tell me they want a woman they can lead, but don't understand that to lead you have to have objective, otherwise this metaphor has you floating in an ocean, unaware you were even talking about a ship. 😅

I'm shocked to discover that Carmit was the one who sung the "let it go" bridge to the song. They did her dirty by not showing her singing it, instead having Nicole mime her solo. But I do understand she was insecure due to having a cleft palate, even though she did have surgery to correct it. Carmit was my favourite as well. Carmit is so beautiful - she looks just like her mother. I always thought she was the most striking in the group. She always stood out due to her hair and she was just overall stunning.

PCD were representing womens, 5H are representing teenagers. they were beautiful girls having both talent in singing AND dancing. They didnt have to try so much to be sexy, THEY WERE SEXY. And although 5H can sing or no they all have anoying voices and really weird dance moves. They try too much and it shows a looooot. It's better to have 2 great and amazing singer than 5 whos singing voice are ''okay''. But, that's my opinion after all!
