How do you zoom out that much? I can't seem to do it when playing the game 😁

Question: does Napoleon total war have a like playground/ creative mode where you can go against the A.I. and create your own battle?

I remember finding out about line warfare in high school and thinking about how worthless the leaders must have thought of their military… like to tell men to walk into gunfire knowing they will die… just seems pointless and expensive.
