I’m in the middle of a similar build using the elcamino. What length barrel is that? I’m looking at the acculite 4.5 or 6 inch. Great setup!

I’ve literally been cleaning my erector for almost an hour now wishing I could just chuck it in an ultrasonic cleaner and go. Filled paperwork on an el Camino Saturday so now we wait. And clean.

I love the look of your Charger setup, but how much does it weigh? SB braces seem to weigh a lot.

It’s 4.52 lbs without magazine. If I remove the sba3 from the tube it’s 4.14 lbs. if you want light you could swap in a blade brace.

@@ZackCarlson That's not too bad! It drives me nuts when I see a braced firearm that ends up weighing as much as a full sized rifle of the same type.

For a pistol, I REALLY like it. I haven't gotten any new cans recently so I can't comment if anything beats it now but I'm still super happy with it out of all of my .22 cans.

How does the suppression of the Q El Camino stack up against other leading rimfire cans in your opinion? Does it compare well with the Mask, Oculus 22 and Switchback? How is the FRP on pistols? Lastly, that baffle design looks like it has deep recessed portions around the cone, can you get in there to clean, or would that area slowly fill up?

I clean it with a ultrasonic cleaner, so a dip in the batch and a blast of compressed air when done and it's pretty well clean.

Dude get a small sonic cleaner! Them shits work great for parts cleaning and baffles!!! I also am lazy when comes to cleaning my stuff awwwww I should have waited to comment till the end lol sonic is the way!!!

Sure! I’ve been doing research to see if it’s really worth picking one up and now I’m convinced it is. Especially for small parts. Purple power was one solution I was looking at.

No sorry, I was really interested in their 10/22 integral barrel until I found out the shape of it and how it won't fit other stocks.

Zack Carlson - Writer I’m only planning on getting one for now for my 17hmr, would you still to this day recommend the El Camino over day the dead air mask or the sparrow? My other gun would be the S&W 22 compact. I’m looking for a long winded nerdy explanation if you could manage.

The mask and el Camino are both my favorites. The elcamino is slimmer and lighter and comes apart super easy. The mask feels beefy and goes together a little more complicated how the baffles lock into each other. I’d get both again. I plan on buying a second el Camino myself.
