Sumit Sharma is the visionary founder behind Radian Finserv, a prominent non-bank finance company (NBFC) registered with the RBI. Radian Finserv specializes in retail asset-backed lending, with a focus on gold-backed loans. By utilizing cutting-edge technology platforms, Radian delivers a seamless and superior customer experience. Since launching in Bangalore, Radian has expanded its reach, establishing 36 branches across six states: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
Prior to Radian, Sumit founded Vector, an NBFC aimed at empowering women and supporting micro-entrepreneurs in rural and semi-urban India. Founded in November 2018, Vector provides short-term working capital using a group lending model and advanced technology platforms to ensure efficient distribution and operations.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Sumit held significant corporate roles, including President and Chief Human Capital Officer at Jana Small Finance Bank, Senior Vice President at DBS Bank, and Consultant at HSBC. His career spans various geographies in Asia and Europe. Sumit is also an alumnus of XLRI, India, and INSEAD, France.
