I am an artist and writer and I have walked into a story in my dining room or driven into a painting while I drive. I believe inspiration is looking for the one who is listening.
Listening requires, "Quieting the mind", and we get there in Meditation. When in Meditation I conceive an "Opening, for the flow for energy of our Higher Self, flowing in to us, bringing in the *"Inspirations, those thoughts that feel delicious, that contain the epiphanies."* This is the allowing of, by turning down or off, that volume of the buzz, (whether from the learned "Running Thought Program" aka "Subconscious Thought Program") or (the News and Medias that are overwhelmingly laced with an intentional fostering of the "Lower Mind, aka Ego Mind, aka Adolescent Mind " fear based learned/learning content that serves only those whom reap the Profits and Power they gain from it and its influence.) Doing the practice daily, of 15 minutes of Meditation, it a consistent building of the values received, abd frim this, we know and experience Harmony, Wellbeing, a Higher Vibrational Frequency norm, there we are in our True "balanced in Harmony Strength" as we intended to operate this Physical Life Journey from, and thus, we are 8n iur true state if Freedom, and here we Experience the Beautiful Benefits that the*"Universal Law of Attraction"* offers for us. That Divine Design that "Gives us such great Joyful Experiences" *(When we are in that srate offering Inspirations),* and (when we aren't in this area of "Balance in Harmony", we then are experiencing the undesired and lacking the opportunities for Inspirations). Recognizing our true state of being, influences, whether through our own Thoughts, or all8wing the outside influences in, from here we can adjust accordingly, with the understanding that *"We uave the choice."* Realizing we have the Power, and we have the Choice to clain it, use it, or to he resistant to it, allowing for the (state of "floundering", allowing others to dictate our "state if being"). *Your Thought's comment, "inspired my thoughts shared here".* Beth Bartlett Sociologist/Behavioralist and Historian

Whoa! That whole thing about jumping on an idea or it will find another vessel resonates with me so much! I’m a visual artist, and I have had so many wacky and amazing ideas that I sat on for too long, and with nearly every one of them I came across another artist who did them. One of the ones that seemed most unlikely to be thought of by anyone else was literally done 5 years after I thought of it by an artist in my own city AND in the actual community art studio I am a member of. I was pretty sad about it, because they executed it so brilliantly I don’t think I could even compete. I chronically delay moving forward with ideas, and part of it is that I’ve always allowed others to affect my decisions on how I spend my creative time and when. I gotta stop it.

"Show up every day." That consistency and persistency is a predominant theme in every practice, and is easily dismissed as "it sounds too easy." In practice, this consistency is often the hardest part to master and sustain. It is dependent on a scheduled daily reminder of our true identity and our driving purpose.

I'm in the middle of a complex series of synchronicity experiences that has lasted for several days, and this interview is fitting into it perfectly! The dragon story really resonated with me, in regard to addiction. (Dragons as a symbol keep popping up in my life.) I came from a dysfunctional, substance-abusing family and background. I smoked, drank, did drugs, ate too many sweets, and had several other addictions. All my attempts at forcefully cold-turkey-quitting each of those (mostly trying to use "will power") failed, but a long, stumbling process of therapy, self-therapy, learning to meditate, facing my demons and closet-skeletons, looking inward, paying attention to spiritual guidance and synchronicities (which started when I was a hard-core atheist), made the addictions just kind of evaporate away.🤠
As I was listening to the story about the fundamentalist family living next to Michael's house, I thought about my own comment about being a former atheist and realized that it sounded like I was putting atheists down or separating them from "spiritual" people. The reality is that I've known atheists who were much more spiritual (i.e., loving and kind) than most of the spiritual or religious people I've known, including myself.
I’ve had my troubles with various addictions as well. Drinking has recently ‘faded away’ for me. I, too, am facing my dragons and shadow self. I’m making progress through meditation and being more compassionate toward myself. Life is getting better on some levels… I’m grateful and Thank You for your comments…!
so funny you guys talking about Stuart Wilde. i went to see him after reading many of his books. well i was fairly newly sober, about 2 years. Stuart was drunk as a skunk and i was annoyed! ha ha. thought him the biggest charlatan. think i'll look him up again though after hearing you two.
WOW! The story about your friend stoping his nail biting habit really hit home with me! About 2 months ago I stopped biting my nails after years of this terrible nervous habit! I hated doing it but had such a difficult time stopping. Recently, I polished my nails and it suddenly dawned on me that I had no idea how my nails grew and more importantly how in the world did I just stop doing it without even thinking. You just answered that question for me! My 2 year spiritual journey is paying off! THANK YOU Alex and Michael for your work and dedication to humanity! 💜

I need help understanding the Zen master / robber story where he wants to go back to being a robber after becoming a student of the zen master and ultimately enlightened. I totally get that religion & spiritual are separate. And we don’t need religion to have values. Where you lost me is that someone who is enlightened would want to do anything that would harm others. Enlightened people know we are all ONE and hurting others is only hurting ourself. Enlightened people tend to have a sense of urgency to serve others, spread awareness & love. So, if anyone can explain that to me, I’d appreciate the insight 💖

I have a question, and I may already know. When there is conversation about the "accension" coming. Does that mean there is going to be a large group tbat actually dies and leaves their bodies? This is lovely. ❤ I feel that flow when I'm talking to dead people (which makes my daughter laugh, because that's what I say, but I feel, sense, love then as souls). The air around me changes, the energy is more than I am, sometimes far more than I am. And what comes through is amazing, I say things that seem so odd to me, but mean so much to those hearing. And it makes sense to them, things I chocks know, but they do. I'm surprised, startled, and sometimes deeply shaken, because those souls trust me enough to share these things with me, to share with those who are asking. I have always written, so I recognize the flow. It is right, and real, and wonderful.

"From birth" the normal parent is checking why the child is crying; are you hungry, dirty, warm, cold? bored? it's your "fault" if they they are.. we can't blame parents for this panic, the baby's piercing cry tells of the urgency. perhaps many children enver stop and learn to self soothe..

I walk my dog on alternative days of the week, mainly by our grear river. There are so many different areas I can choose from. I love watching the river, feel totally calm and peaceful. Amazing feeling throughout the day. I feel very thankful to God or the universe for selecting this place for me to live almost 40 years ago. We are surrounded by the river, and different parks around us. 2 parks that are more than 8 acres.
