Now I get why Eliza says "The curse has been broken" when you killed all the Hacketts. By the time you killed them all, you don't hear about Silas, thus the players is lead to beieve that the werewolf curse was caused by the Hacketts. Adding on to that, by killing them all, the summer camp shuts down, prompting everyone to never come back and Silas is free to spend his live without being hunted.
Well there's clearly supernatural shit going on as she is a ghost which can exist in our world which is already fantastical So I guess she can keep Silas from biting anyone. Problem is even if we assume that Silas has to die of old age so it can finally be over or some people WILL find him eventually and then everything goes to shit again. If they find and kill Silas I guess we're good but if they get bit by Silas then escape the curse continues Either way the curse is still alive and well as long as Silas lives
I think she means it metaphorically- she sees the Hacketts as a curse because of the fire. Silas was already infected when he was freed. Travis mentions that Caleb got bitten just about as he and Kaylee got him to freedom, implying that he was infected before the Hacketts were ever involved in his situation. I think Eliza's just a little bitter that someone let her son out of the cage she had him locked in as a side-show freak. 😐
I hated him because he did literally everything wrong and treated the werewolves as if they enjoyed being werewolf and had full control of their situation. He's definitely the bad guy for breaking out Silas and getting his family infected and he deserves to rot in jail for committing so many crimes
@@savagecabbage1184 I believe it was Kaley and Caleb who broke out Silas with the hay bushel fire and Travis is doing his best to keep his family together without outright killing them
@@Michael20 Travis admitted to helping them by telling them to start the fire, the whole Hackett family got what they deserved when they all died, they played with fire and got burned. With the way the game played out, Silas would have been pacified every full moon by his ghost mom Eliza, hence why Travis was able to exactly know where Silas would be, despite not being able to hunt him down for 6 years. The entire Hackett family was all off hunting around the forests because they were expecting Silas to be out and about, murdering people, they weren't expecting Silas to be back where everything went down and burned to the ground, suffering in his half made cage by himself. Travis knew exactly where Silas had been because he knew where they burned down the performing circus, in reality, The Hacketts killed more people than Silas and Eliza did because they kept failing to contain themselves and killing campers/innocent people

Yeah and everyone survive outta the camp counselor group even Max was alive and free. Only person that died was Ryan and Laura is a prisoner of the Hacketts.I felt that ending was the most fucked up

His mother dies from an explosion after smearing wolf blood on herself and trying to find her son. After that Caleb, bites his sister and father who go on to kill or infect hikers and the counselors. The Hackett family devastate the wildlife in the surrounding area and deplete their own wealth hunting for Silas. The hacketts worm their way into having Travis become sherriff so he can contain any mysterious deaths or missing persons in legal red tape and coverups. All of this after the Hackett family started it and spread it. It goes Silas, who is found to be a reclusive child living on his own in the woods at the top, then a straight line to Caleb, then it branches out from there. they were the real curse the whole time.
From what I played in all reality there was no bad guy I simpathized with all characters and watching the wife get her head blown off was both graphic and sad for the family

@@exploitedgamer4950 she lost her son because of her own actions not because of them, they got cursed because of how she treated Silas, she is not and never will be a victim and even the actors say she is the actual villain, Silas as well as everyone else was just a victim, Eliza lost one son she abused and locked up,and then when she (believes) he is dead she wants to act like mother hen,when she makes you think killing the hacketts ends the curse when really you’re just delaying the inevitable letting some wild werewolf out to roam and make you believe that that very same werewolf won’t fight or kill an innocent child just because it hesitates doing so,and would lay down trying to fool you into thinking it’ll sit around like a cat or dog and lick your hand

Travis I feel is the type that'll kill you if you are a threat to him. Laura was a threat to Travis, if you the sneaky type I don't want you around me taking shit that don't have shit to do wit you I'm sorry. I like Laura? But same time you can't just be talking to anyone any kind of way. Though the Hacketts were apart of the situation and Travis honestly was tryna help Laura and her brother 😞

Why is Travis devastated when Jed is killed but not Constance? Sure, seeing his father dead is sad but it doesn't add up. When Jed is alive and not Constance, the game doesn't say he's devastated.

Any reality where Travis dies is the good ending, you'd agree too if you've unlocked every evidence in the game. The Hacketts were horrible people, but Travis was the worst one of them all

Seeing how the Curator reacts to all the hacketts deaths makes me think that maybe the story was supposed to go this way, then after experimenting you would find the siles endings. Sile’s werewolf twist for me just came out of nowhere and in the worst way possible, while I was already frustrated at the plot for wasting time making us go to the radio tower (after the radio tower I believe the story toke a nose dive) then the whole flash back where I hated playing Laura just to be throw back at the cabin and to the scrape yard, you know the part where again nothing progresses the plot so just being back at the cabin and the interesting hacketts lodge just felt like something was being done compared to the waste of time the rest was. Favourite characters Jacob- Felt bad for him Max- Felt bad that Laura pulled him to hackett quarry Dylan- Somewhat funny…at the start Travis- Just trying to do good no-matter how terrible he has to be Terrible characters Laura-Didn’t think about what her actions when doing them Emma- Supermassive games stereotype bi**h

And if laura didn’t do all she did silas wouldn’t have died and the curse could’ve killed a lot more people in the future. The ending where they kill silas is the true ending of this game. You like the guy who sabotaged the van because a girl broke up with him and unknowingly puts his friends in a life or death situation. Even then he still doesn't respect Emma's wishes to remain single. Btw, Emma is way more tolerable than Emily and Jessica.
