The Queen’s Favorite Cake | Chocolate Biscuit Cake 

We prepared the queen's favourite dessert as an homage to her

I made this because of this video and I see why she ate it every day. As a pro-tip - if you want a twist on this recipe, use orange dark chocolate for the ganache. Takes it up a notch. Im soaking the cookies in rum for a minute before I make it next time.

Does that filling have a strong taste of butter tho ? I'm dying to make this but I'm just a bit unsure of what that filling tastes like as have never made it

Why doesn't the video tell you how much butter and sugar to use ?

No it wasn't because this particular cake wasn't a popular cake in England.

That is absolutely not how you make biscuit cake! You melt the butter, add golden syrup and melted chocolate, then the biscuits. This cake is completely the wrong texture with whipped butter.
