Hmm...having watched the comparison video, I think...Adam's voice is good but too good and a little too clear...while Marc's voice is a little more powerful ( like Freddie ) and has...'depth(?)'. Well, of course nobody can replace Freddie Mercury though...that much we know. :)

Two years ago I commented here saying "My God Queen, why the HELL isn't Marc the frontman?!!" after he just blew our minds on what was the 25th anniversary of losing Freddie. In just a couple of weeks it will be the 30th anniversary and as much as I like Adam, Marc really should be the one heading the tribute. It's not just the similar vocal style, it's the fact that Marc brings Freddie back to do justice to what he never got to perform live.

Wrong. They are BOTH good. And they are both different. And you can LIKE both. You can like Martel's version which is probably the closest approximation of Freddie's voice that's ever existed. And you can like the Dimash version which is much more theatrical and is a completely different take on the song. Regardless...NEITHER of them (Nor Adam Lambert, nor Paul Rodgers) IS Freddie Mercury. I think it's great that there are so many singers trying to keep his legacy alive. I can find appreciation in all of their different versions. It just goes to show how profoundly powerful and lasting the greatness of Freddie Mercury is.

Freddie also smoked 60 a day and had throat nodules from straining his voice in concerts without enough recovery time between which makes Live Aid all the more incredible. Doesn't stop Marc being amazing though.

To those who say Marc is trying to copy Freddie, it was never his intention to do so. Even before he started covering Queen songs, he's been told he sounds like Freddie. Just because he studied Freddie's mannerisms and vocal techniques doesn't make him a full on copy. If he wanted to do that, he'd have a moustache and lose weight. Plus his genetics are another reason for him sounding similar, near the same sinuses.

Why would Freddie be crying? Because some fat man that has a voice that can imitate him became rich? I dont think so man.

@@pantelisdalezios811 Αδερφέ δεν θα τον έλεγα πλούσιο. Ο τυπάς έχει σχεδόν ίδια φωνή,αυτό είναι ταλέντο δεν είναι από το πουθενά. Στο τέλος της ημέρας αυτό είναι πιο πολύ ζήλεια παρά ένα απλό σχόλειο.

@@datt55 Αρχικά έχει 2.000.000 ο τυπάκος και αυτά δε τα έβγαλε από τα δικά του "τραγούδια", αλλά από νικήσεις όπως αυτή. Η φωνή του έχει περίπου τον ίδιο τόνο, αλλά δεν είναι όσο σοβαρός και επιβλητικός όσο ο Μερκιουρι. Δες ένα λάιβ Του, είναι ότι πιο όμορφο μουσικα έχει εμφανιστεί. Ενώ αυτός ο χοντρός κοιλιάς απλώς εκμεταλλεύεται την φήμη του άλλου και τη φωνή του ίδιου.
