I would, of course, be most interested to know if he intends to become the ultimate Sherlock by recording the balance of Dr. Doyle's work. I believe this would make him the "ultimate Sherlock/Watson" and make him unique in his field. Regards DL Hunter davidhunteriii@aol.com

Loved this brilliantly narrated tale ! If anyone enjoyed the speculative apsects of this story and the mania that is uncorked in the souls that participate I would recommend The Gambler by Dostoyevsky written 33 years after this. One of my favourite books.

I was enthralled by the Gambler. The story's pace is thrilling and its psychological insights are gripping. This story is kind of a cross between The Gambler and Crime & Punishment.

What a fantastic piece this is. I love the finer details that breathe such life into the characters; the indolent servants and their disrespect for the old Countess, the Countess herself and her pompous egotism, her controlling behaviours around Elisabet. Well read Sir Wagland

Sublime reading (rendering I should say) of a classic of universal literature. Thank you. I thought I had lost it and your channel here for a good while and was more ill-tempered about it than is habitual. Not "having it in me" it faded or blossomed into sadness and action until I understood (not fully) that this place (you-?-tube) makes it extremely easy to report copyright violations where they are non-existent (public domain is public domain the world over, maybe the new HQ's of Google or Alphabet are not in a contemporary country..) and virtually impossible to report genuine infringement of copyright on behalf of anyone but oneself, Since I am not a creative artist with original content that doesn't affect me directly but it's one hell of a way to run a company which is a subsidiary to Our Lords. I missed your voice but your videos seem to be returning less slowly than I dreaded. Not just the Sherlock ones but such pet likes of mine (E.F. Benson, M.R. James) and glorious Pushkin. In case I never said it before / elsewhere: you have a superbly evocative voice, acting skills which are (I suspect) understated here and again - in a most subtle, satisfying and brilliant way. Thank You. I don't remember saying it before today but Pushkin seems an appropriate genius to start with.
