I just wish every version of this same drama was more decisive on the ending when the FL picks the Crown Prince and walks away from the ex hubby. That loser deserves to be alone or saddled with a shrew of a wife that makes him miserable and kowtows to her.
It is ridiculous ,killing a new born baby to save the mistress is unforgivable it is a disgusting sin and no matter how attractive or repenting a man is doing this specific crime is a turning point . What is sinnister is the fact that the prince is actually loved the other woman in the princess body ,so he actually really hated the victim princess .now the modern woman who took the princess 's body has no right to love or sympathized a criminal who killed a baby for his mistress unless he is under some drugs and he did not know what he is doing . and why the screenwriters seem to accuse women as a brainless stupid beings who don't know what a good husband should be ,the last scene gives the idea that women don't deserve good safe noble husband because they will always choose shitty ones
Exactly, It is shameful that writers have created such despicable plots that belittle modern women. That women in the imperial period behaved this way is understandable, but time travel is unacceptable, especially when the characters are highly educated.
I wish too that in the middle of drama, the wife choose another prince and help to ascend the throne and dump the ex-husband prince leave with the stupid mistress and leading lyf miserable.
The only bit I like in this version is that the SFL faces the consequences of her actions directly after the truth reveal, although her death had less to do with justice for the FL and more to do with the fact that ML got played like a fiddle so he lashed out, it was still satisfying. In the other(s) she gets nothing which gives her a opportunity to try again which she of course fails at but given the time period they are portraying this way makes more sense.
I've seen so many versions of this and it's annoying how she hesitates in each one. That man was so awful to you. Why are you hesitating? He killed your baby!!
I saw only 1 version where she left but in that also the ex requested the emperor to transfer him to the same place as her. It ends with him on the horse vowing to win her back. I think the writers forget that the FL is not the same person who was in love with the scumbag so why would she hesitate?
@Lioness_MM but then she was also not the one who loved him. Hence, the point, she was not in love with him and has only seen a cruel / stupid side of him, so why the hesitation?
I'm really trying hard to understand the concept of this whole thing, like what do they expect us to gain from this? That it's okat to abuse and torture a woman and then she will take you back, simply because he is sorry?
I think I lost my mind. In all of the versions of the story, this was the worst and disgusted me the most. And he killed his own son and had no remorse. What kind of ridiculous thing it is? In another version, she actually left with her maid after saving the prince and even helps him solve all of his worries.
Why they bring her back to the same bondage having to fight for her well being and after all what kind of revenge is going back to an abuser at the end?

The strangest thing about this C-🎭 is that it brings to light that women in this country are so used to being mistreated, even in Modern time, that they find nothing wrong within their Fantasy Dreams of returning to their abusers🤔. It should’ve been a very easy decision to tell her abuser to go “F Off,” yet the FL still was hesitating at the end🤔. It’s an easy pass for me because I can’t understand the rationales behind domestic or any violence against myself🧐. I love myself too much😂🤣😂
😷💦Too many similar versions, and this is prob. one of the worst , FL like reading from script and no emotion at all. ML not even good looking at all and no emotional too. ( crown prince not bad looking and acting).
I think a better ending would be FL taking him back but making him pay her back everyday with anything she wants. And of course her getting to slap the villian b 50 times.
