In retrospect, if you actually re-watch and objectively consider the high, middle and lower tier seasons of RPDR, despite 'sheep' opinion of Season 7, its actually not terrible contrary to what alumni or other people might say. It feels like there's a popular opinion narrative being pushed by masses, but Season 10 and 11 were both worse and lower than 7 in what they brought altogether to the franchise. Season 7 has some of the best runway themes that have ever been featured on the show, it features amazing, memorable queens such as Katya, Violet, Trixie, Kennedy, Pearl, Ginger, Fame, Jasmine. Arguably the most cohesive snatch game collectively as an ensemble cast on the show, some memorable challenges such as the John Waters, Conjoined Twins, Glamazonian Airways, Born Naked season premiere. It can be accredited to giving the show's franchise a bigger platform for look queens. The season was quite strong and diverse runway-wise, and that further impacted later seasons to appreciate that facet of the show more, with the rise of IG queens such as Aquaria, who was quite dominating runway-wise. Even the queens who left earlier on in the season stay in your mind such as Max (who won more challenges than Yvie), Jaidynn who was robbed of a challenge win and is such a sweetheart, Kasha who deserved to stay longer, Tempest who had more to show acting wise and in her character/story, Kandy being 1/2 of the lip sync assassins on the season. I legit cannot say the same for season 11, facts are facts, America. Season 10 and 11 were definitely more underwhelming than 7, it holds its own against latter seasons (10 + 11) that lack a wholesome charismatic ensemble of queens and that in contrast feature chaotic lip sync for the crowns.
