I unsubbed from him ages ago, just back stabs all his friends and put false information out there for views

i used to watch that guy a lot and actually liked him until i came across a couple of videos in which he said some transphobic remarks . that not only really hurt me , but also shocked me since he is i believe bisexual ? after that i noticed how ignorant he is to so many things and now i've "blocked" him from my recommended page (where he used to pop up all the time)

It feels like Alex is so committed to his "nice guy" persona that he's tried being an advocate in situations that didn't even involve him. Makes me think that he's completely fake and he's only putting on this persona out of convenience and personal gain, not because he actually cares about doing the right thing. It's complete and utter pandering and, clearly, that doesn't always work out.

Question (random): does anyone else feel like commentary channels are seemingly obsessed w dunking on typically harmless teen trends, of which girls’ interests are usually the target? And then also their obsession w calling out female youtubers? Not to say that their problematic content shouldn’t be called out, but c’mon. The disproportionate focus on female creators and girls interest has gotten very stale and tiring for me. Call out some of your boys every now and then. But not the way imalexx attempts to lmao

Gosh it would suck if the internet knew every exaggerated detail of how terrible of a girlfriend I was when I was 16.

I used to genuinely love Alex. I watched him, Slazo, and all the other British commentary channels. But since Alex showed his true colors, I can’t look at him (or really any of them) the same. I can’t even watch the others, either, after the injustices they served to iNabber. It’s just disappointing.

I don't know how to feel about ImAlexx since Slazo, dude didn't even apologise about it...

As for the slazo part: I do think he’s valid in his want to not want to be friends with slazo if his actions made him uncomfortable. But I do think people with platforms should be careful about what they say, and realize how they’re words can influence others.

i never really knew the hype with this dude. he isn't really that funny as people claim he is. (well atleast to me) when he had an interview with alfie deyes, all his points that were mentioned at a video targeted at alfie just backfired on him. almost like he was scared of confrontation, because then again he's just a lanky kid on the internet that has 14 year old girls simping over him.

I have genuine hatred for him, anyone who is willing to blindly destroy someone's career when digging deeper, you notice that there's no evidence at all that what he "did" even happened

Wild how this terrible man got away without being shut down by the internet

The one case that Alex was involved in but continually gets away with is how he utterly destroyed one of his early internet friends, Zaptie. He did so much damage with his accusations against Zaptie on Zaptie's own shared podcast that he ran the guy completely off the internet. The internet's response was so bad there was no window of opportunity for Zaptie to clear his name until Turkey Tom and Nick Deorio took the time to debunk the whole thing and turn public opinion several years later.

Slazo actually seems like he’s 20x better of a person than Alex. The funniest part is that if these same allegations against Alex came out about anyone else, Alex would be making his usual moral grandstanding videos about it and get up on his high horse, even reveling in the “drama” of it all. Perez Hilton isn't exactly the best moral compass to go after in alleged false allegations. Remember he was the one who stalked Lady Gaga for a pretty significant period after the end of their friendship and tore her down viciously because he was trying to be buddy-buddy with Madonna to the point where he had sent Gaga a Photoshopped image of her in a wheelchair with a gun to her head and blood all over her. So I wouldn't put it past Perez to be predatory towards Charli D'Amelio (sorry if it's incorrect in spelling) since that's his past.

I'm so glad someone is finally talking about this guy. None of his content is funny and he's problematic as hell. He never has genuine criticisms and always sounds like some bitter old man who doesn't get current trends and because he can't have fun, no one else can. He's a spoiled, manipulative jerk at best.

man i love watching youtubers who i loved when i was 12 get swirled up in controversy and get videos made about them. something about it is just so.... exhilarating........

the inabber situation is the first time i’ve ever defended alex. yea he’s a shitty person but the way everyone (esp kavos) made it seem like alex was solely responsible for excluding fraser when it’s pretty clear that they’re all adults who participated in the whole situation. everyone only ever blamed alex and given his track record i’m not surprised but it’s frustrating because it makes will james and george look like angels when in reality they were definitely in on the whole situation.

I've never liked ImAllexx. At first, it was just because he made mediocre videos which admittedly isn't really much to get mad about but when I heard how he was one of the main contributors to trying to cancel Slazo and Zaptie I went from disrespecting him to hating him. He tried to ruin the lives of 2 innocent people and while Slazo thankfully bounced back, Zaptie now has to live his entire life knowing that everyone thinks he's a pedophile and sociopath when he really wasn't. There's an excellent quote from a nearly canceled man ProJared which states, "Nobody likes CancelCulture, until someone gets the chance to cancel someone," and as such, I feel like the only people who should be canceled are people who abuse that power to cancel.
