For english comrades, this and 3 other (Rome, Greece and russian language history) videos were made by adv collaboration of Yandex (russian google) and Arzamas. Because of the high quality, the videos were expensive. And seems like Yandex will no longer sponsor such videos due to low feedback regarding to cost. So that's why there are no more english videos. Although we also hope for new vids because love this format so much.

I think some of the reasons were because the fear of russian propaganda backlash. The backlash how society would create fear for there citizens and there tourist safety. Than there is economical aspect that people would not invest in art, when they rather invest in food rations.

This is very good but may I suggest you change the music to something a bit more relaxing, like a nice Tchaikovsky or something, because the music is too quick and creates tension, it makes my heart beat really fast, and I feel uncomfortable listening to it. Thank you. I really want to learn more about Russian art though, so appreciate you making this video.
@misosazay
@misosazay 4 года назад
music in the background is absolutely no coincidence, since it reflects the same ideas as paintings and other art, which is mentioned in the video. if you put Tchaikovsky or some other relaxing music, you won’t feel all these ideas in the same sense that these authors wanted to convey. Tchaikovsky for the authors of the art of these years is the "last century", an old art, and they are a new art that turns everything around. If you do not want music, just read the book. In the video, it’s always important not only what is shown and what is said, but also how it sounds.
