The Quran Defends the Sunnah - Nouman Ali Khan - Malaysia Tour 2015

One problem I see more and more is the idea that the Sunnah is questionable and it was not protected and preserved as well as the Quran. When I became a student of the Quran over 15 years ago, one of the first lessons I could not escape is that the most powerful defense of the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the Quran itself. The only way someone can say they believe in the Quran but not the Sunnah is if they don't study the Quran.

infact if you had some common sense you should understand that Allah sent his sunnah through our prophet when we say prophet sunnah it mean the same because Allah didn't came to earth to show us how to worship him but instead he sent his messengers and thought them and tell us to follow them if you want Allah mercy so plz if you don't understand something atleast ask don't force your thoughts on others because you feel you know already the truth may Allah guide us all

By definition, the sunnah usually refers to anything which is shown through nabi muhammad s.a.w., whether it is through his speech, actions, confirmation, or other. Following the sunnah is similar to following a role model imo, but the sunnah is more practical and more impactful than a normal role model, and a lot of our normal ibadah is also derived from the sunnah. For example, how we solat, as in what we do for each step, what we read for each step, is from the sunnah, and not described in detail in the quran. Yet Allah s.w.t has said multiple times in the quran to do prayers, and how do we do that? By looking at how nabi muhammad s.a.w. prayed. Which is also similar to how nabi isa r.a. prayed. And as nouman ali khan has said, the quran defends the sunnah while the sunnah depends upon the quran, the quran is in my understanding basically the core source of knowledge, and the sunnah shows how to follow it.

Sunnah of the Prophet= Al-Quran. Hadith of the Prophet = Al-Quran Message of the Prophet =Al-Quran. The Quran Explains Itself, It requires no outside source to understand it. " Allah has given us the best Hadith", (39:23. Please read the arabic to spot the word "hadith") Also "in what hadith after the Quran will you believe"?(See Quran 77:50 ). Furthermore the Quran states that the task of the Messenger was to deliver the Message ONLY. You can find all the above quotes in the Quran. Read the Quran with a blank slate, abandon all prior knowledge( that given to you by others around you) and you will be amazed how beautifully it all fits together.

If Allah had to send a book he could have sent it down on a piece of rope. There was no need of a prophet. The prophet's job was to explain the Qur'an and to show the Qur'an in life. And that is the interpretation of Qur'an collected as Hadiths such as Sahih Bukhari, and Sahih Muslim. None of the verses you quote justifies your position. It shows only your lack of common sense. NAK breaks all of your lies apart and I can't do a better job than him. If you want to live according to your desires, why follow Qur'an even? How come you believe that Qur'an was revealed to Muhammad (pbuh)? Do you trust him? Have you seen the Angel Gabriel coming down to him? Still if you believe this man who claimed that Qur'an is the word of God and not his own, then you must also trust the way he lived his life as well. please don't be deceived by these Koranist idiots.. May Allah guide us all.
@senantiasa
@senantiasa 7 лет назад
"If Allah had to send a book he could have sent it down on a piece of rope." The primary form of the Quran is recitation/speech/oral, not a physical book. If the all copies of the Quran in the whole world were destroyed, the Quran would still remain intact, because it's found in the hearts of men. You can't say the same for any other book (as far as I know). Secondly, it's a good test for men. Many people rejected their messengers because the messengers were ordinary humans just like them and many couldn't believe that the messengers sent to them were not the highest-ranked, the wealthiest or the most powerful. Now, it's a fact that many humans have the devil's "I'm-better-than-him-because-I'm-made-out-of-fire" mentality/trait. So this is a good way to separate the proud from the humble. I believe in the Koran because it couldn't have been written by anyone other than God Himself. And since I believe in the Koran, I believe in Muhammad and Gabriel through whom we have received the Koran. Do you believe that Muhammad is just a messenger or is he more than just a messenger? And do you believe that God authorized Bukhari and Muslim to write their books? May God give you guidance..!
@BinuJasim
@BinuJasim 7 лет назад
"May God give you guidance..!" So don't you want guidance? Are you already full of guidance? Here is a simple question for you. If you lived at the time of the Prophet (pbuh) and he commanded to do you something, will you then question him whether is it from God or is it from your own before doing it?
@senantiasa
@senantiasa 7 лет назад
"So don't you want guidance? Are you already full of guidance?" If someone says "May God protect you!", it doesn't mean that the wisher also doesn't want God's protection. "If you lived at the time of the Prophet (pbuh) and he commanded to do you something, will you then question him whether is it from God or is it from your own before doing it?" I believe I would know. I believe that if he told me to pray, then it is from God. But if it's to help him find his shoes, then it's not. Don't you think so too? And even if I'm not sure whether it's from him or God, I would do it anyway to help him with his mission in spreading the religion UNLESS for any reason I think he's trying to do something wrong. "...nor disobey thee in what is RIGHT..." Q60:12 Now my turn! If the messenger of God ordered you to pray, who ordered you to pray? The messenger? God? Or both? The thing is, I don't see a difference between the order of God and His messenger. If God ordered something and the prophet didn't tell us to do it, then he's a bad messenger for not telling us. And if the prophet told us to do things God never ordered, then he's still a bad messenger for adding his own commands/rules made up by his human brain and limited knowledge to be applicable for all of humanity born and not yet born until the day of judgement. He is only a good messenger if he did deliver to us exactly what his master had given him, not more, not less and not changed. This is how I think. Wouldn't you agree? So back to the question, (I'm assuming that you pray salah) who ordered you to pray? God or the prophet? And you still haven't answered my previous question. Do you believe that God authorized Bukhari and Muslim to write Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim?

He said it himself in this lecture: "the prophet is the walking Quran. When someone thought of the Quran they thought of him." Well there you have it. Need I say anymore? The only sunnah we should follow is clearly the Quran itself. Hadith came at least 200 years after his death. Is there even a slight chance this ayah can refer to the Hadith? "You will find that the sunna of Allah is the only sunna" (33:62....35:43.....48:23) "These are God's revelations that We recite to you truthfully. In which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe?" 45:6 "Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?" 6:114
@hebince44
@hebince44 8 лет назад
***** Haha no I won't say that. But here's the thing. The Quran was ultimately written in the prophet's time and the hadith weren't. The Quran is proven to be the only one unable to change with its phonetic structure where the people would instantly spot a change. The recent century's mathematical structure also proved that it's coded with the number 19. Where exactly do the hadith have this reliability? And the prophet was the "walking Quran" in Ustadh Khan's own words. Not hadith written 200+ years later. So how can ayat defend something people did and did not believe in at the time mentioned in this lecture actually refer to something that wasn't even around at their time?
@hebince44
@hebince44 8 лет назад
***** The hadith don't explain the Quran, the Quran does. And to think otherwise is shirk: “These are the verses of the book that make things clear”. (26:2). "You will find that the sunna of Allah is the only sunna" (33:62....35:43.....48:23) "Shall I seek other than God as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed?" 6:114

+Mohammad Sheen I have correct this out-context misuse of 16:44. Here it is again. Read the ayah leading up to 16:44 and 16:64 and it is clear that the Prophet is to use THE QUR"AN to make clear to those of prior scripture WHAT WAS REVEALED UNTO THEM. He is not explaining the Qur'an. ------------------------------------------ He is using the Qur'an to explain the Torah and the Injeel to the Jews and the Christians. 16:43-44 And not We sent before you except men, We revealed to them, so ask (the) people (of) the Reminder if you (do) not know. With the clear proofs and the Books. And We sent down to you the Remembrance, that you may make clear to the mankind, what has been sent down to them and that they may reflect. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE GRAMMAR HERE: sent down - نُزِّلَ - is in the past perfect (al-maaDi) and cannot be referring to the Qur'an, because the Qur'an was still being revealed. We also know these ayah are meant to be read together, because Allah repeats the same thought twenty verses later... 16:63-64 By Allah, certainly We have sent to nations before you but made fair-seeming to them the Shaitaan their deeds. So he (is) their ally today, and for them (is) a punishment painful. And not We revealed to you the Book except that you make clear to them that which they differed in it, and (as) a guidance and mercy for a people who believe. Very clearly addressed to those men and nations BEFORE. (اخْتَلَفُوا is al-maaDi again.) And, as always Allahu Alam .

I've had enough of you too, child. The reasons for me to leave you behind are in ayah al-An`am 6:68 and an-Nisa` 4:140.

+Mohammad Sheen 16:43. And before thee also the apostles We sent were but men, to whom We granted inspiration: if ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the Message. 16:44. (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Books of dark prophecies; and We have sent down unto thee (also) the Message; that thou mayest explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought. Yusuf Ali says that Messengers were sent previously with a Message and Allah gave the MESSAGE to the last Messenger in order to use this to explain things clearly to mankind. This does not mean he was given other 'revelation' and it does not mean he had his own hadith to explain the Quran; the Quran is the best explanation so why are you following second best?Please forgive me for quoting the Quran in context and verses that reveal the truth to your untruths, but as revealed in the Quran, as narrated through the Messenger on the authority of Allah: 6:112. Likewise did We make for every Messenger an enemy,- evil ones among men and jinns, inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception. If thy Lord had so planned, they would not have done it: so leave them and their inventions alone. [flower discourses=decorative speech- it was narrated by someone who narrated it from someone on the authority of someone else and you must believe it because to deny the fairy tales is to deny the Messenger and this is apostasy so you will be killed!]6:113. To such (deceit) let the hearts of those incline, who have no faith in the hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may. 6;114. Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah. - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, explained in detail." They know full well, to whom We have given the Book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt. [explained in detail in the Book, not explanation outside of the Book]6;115. The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who heareth and knoweth all. 6;116. Wert thou to follow the common run of those on earth, they will lead thee away from the way of Allah. They follow nothing but conjecture: they do nothing but lie. 6;117. Thy Lord knoweth best who strayeth from His way: He knoweth best who they are that receive His guidance. 6:19] Say, "Whose testimony is the greatest?" Say, "God's. He is the witness between me and you that this Quran has been inspired to me, TO PREACH TO YOU and whomever it reaches. Indeed, you bear witness that there are other gods beside God." Say, "I do not testify as you do; there is only one god, and I disown your idolatry." 6:38] We did not leave anything out of this book. 7:52] We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and mercy for the people who believe. 10:37] This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than God. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible, for it comes from the Lord of the universe. 12:111] In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.

Salamualaikum to all my brothers and sisters in Islam and humanity at large. I am a student of knowledge and trying to und3stand the true meaning of qur'an at least the basic and fundamentals. I am not interested to dig down the narrations of Tafseers as most readers does. Because Allah clearly have warned us not to seeking discource or interpretation suitable to us.( as many muslims knows the event of night journey from Mecca to Jerusalem and then fly to heaven riding on horse alongwith Jibreel) . Anyways I like to assure ustad Nauman that nobody is against the Sunnah of the prophet. However, learned muslim not in a position to believe or trust thise dirty and filthy stories compiled by a group of Munafiqs and dedicated to our beloved prophet. Finally I would like to all my muslims brothers and sisters who are blindly believing in hadiths. Remember on the day of judgement if prophet Mohammad cha)wnge you that he himself did not said or approved those stories, what would be your response to that effect? May Allah guide us all and let our Iman firm based on the revelation of ALLAH and follow the oractice of Abraham the father if our den whom prophet Mohammad has followed as Allah swt asked him to follow.

Thank you Br. Nouman for such a beautiful explanation and powerful statement about both the Quran & Sunnah. I am sure it has benefited a lot of people, and I think we should stop arguing and trying to explain about the sunnah to fractions of people who chose not to believe in them. Let them be with their stand & opinion. Otherwise, it will be an endless debate. In the end, we'll be judged individually.

If the messenger could only judge from the book , where can one understand his judgements after his departure from other than the book itself ? Yes the Quran is the only source and not the here says that were attributed to him. Nobody disputes the fact that the messengers judgement has to be taken but the question is how and from where ? The answer is crystal clear . The Quran .

More should be done to explain the concept of the Hadiths and the Sunnah, there are a lot of ignorant people who reject the Hadiths. Quran and the sunnah are interconnected, the teaching of the hadiths is also from Allah SWT to the prophet PBUH. Muhadiths should be doing more lectures on the Hadiths.

Sorry, but in the video the speech is out of context of the Quran. Can be a mistake as a human being. I proof it. Watch beginning 4:40! In my humble opinion, it is said that Allah gives us Al Kitab and Al Hikmah. These two are not separable, it's true. The hikmah is simply a wisdom. Let suppose we live in the time of prophet muhammad, since there is no one receive revelation from God, so the only wisdom that God sent was through prophet muhammad. Because he is the only person who receives it and studies Qur'an. My point is, if someone learns Qur'an sincerely, then God will give him/her wisdom or hikmah from what he/she studies (that is the Qur'an)... So, it is not necessarily to say that the hikmah is "the only sunnah", however, I believe that sunnah is one of the wisdom that God has sent. This also mean, Al Kitab (Qur'an) is fixed, there will be no other revelation, and the hikmah is always continuously given till now or the end of days...

@RU-vidUserwhen a majority of the people are Muslims, will that verse then apply? and, the Hadith contradict themselves constantly. Hadith talk about Aisha being 6 at marriage, but that contradicts with hadith and the Qur'an which oppose child marriage. Two different sahih-classified Hadith declare Muhammad (saws) to have died at 60 or 63, and that he lived in Mecca for 10 or 13 years. Sahih Hadith talk about the death penalty for apostasy, which contradicts 88:21-22, 11:28, 10:99, and 18:29. Hadith contradicts itself in regard to ablution. They talk about stoning which is never mentioned in the Qur'an. What does the Qur'an say about Muhammad (SAWS) giving other teachings? That he would be punished. Read 69:44-45. And the Qur'an is perfect and complete, so why do you accept hadith? Why do you accept books written 200 years after the Prophet Muhammad (saws) passed? Contact prayer is mentioned constantly throughout the Qur'an. The religious practices given to us by Ibrahim (pbuh) have been preserved and protected by God (swt) and are found in the Qur'an.

The reason you are scared about the hadith is because in your heart brother you know it's not right. Ask yourself did our Messenger pbuh verify the hadiths before they put them in the books. No he didn't, he did verify the Quran if he did verify the hadiths there would be no contradiction or fabrication. I pray Allah will guide you back to the Quran. Though it's not easy when you choose the Quran people call you kafir. Allah is my guide, my teacher and my protector the light. I'm not into name calling or judging because I don't know what's in people hearts but what I do know is shirk is unforgivable unless you repent. Except those who repent and believe (in Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, Allaah will change their sins into good deeds, and Allaah is Oft‑Forgiving, Most Merciful” [al-Furqaan 25:68-70] Allahu Akbar I'm proud to be a Muslin who obeys Allah and our Messenger pbuh by following the revelations Allah sent the Quran. @kiLuL76 I guess you are even not informed about Quran. The Quran states clearly in An-Nisa 4:157 that Jesus is not died. Plus, without Hadith, we do not know *in detail* how to perform Salah, Hajj, Shawm, and other rituals. And the rest of your statements are not even proven, how are you deluded?

@@user-qi6ig6gb8x By claiming that the Quran does not have those details, you are disbelieving in what the Quran assures believers in 6:114, which says "Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt." Also, 6:115 says Shall I seek other than GOD as a source of law, when He has revealed to you this book fully detailed? Those who received the scripture recognize that it has been revealed from your Lord, truthfully. You shall not harbor any doubt." And as far as salat goes, I think if you thought harder about it, you would probably realize that most believers don't learn it from Hadith and instead learn it from observing others. There is no Hadith the clearly gives step-by-step instructions on salat and some of them are contradictory. In fact, the Quran itself gives all the necessary instructions on Salat, the first of which is ablution. In 5:6, it say "O you who believe, when you get up to observe the Salat, wash your faces and your arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles." And 20:14 says "I am God, there is no god except Me. Therefore, you shall worship Me and observe the Salat to commemorate Me." And 6:162-163 says "Say, 'My Salat, my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted to God, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. This is what I was commanded with and I am the first of the submitters.'" The Quran also says the face the Qibla in 2:149, which says "From wherever you set off, turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram. This is the truth from your Lord, and God is not unaware of what you do." As for the positions, the Quran is clear that you need to stand bow and then prostrate during prayer. 2:238 says "You shall maintain the Salawaat and the Salat Al-Wusta, and stand devoutly obedient before God." 22:26 says "We appointed for Abraham the location of the House: 'Do not associate anything with Me, and purify My House for those passing by and those standing, bowing, and prostrating.'" It is a beautiful understanding and tafseer of the whole context. May Allah C.C.grant us more wisdom. There is a question though, how do we know who to make a judge today and who can be the judge to put instead of the Prophet SAW. The Ahadith that are from the Prophet aremany and depending on the contexts. so how do we know if it is the same context or how can we trust someone else with the Hadiths that cannot take The Prophets place? The Prophet had wisdom and understanding of the Holy Quran, but He passed away long time ago and now we only have stories from His time. So how can we make "Him" the judge in this time? Should we trust someone else like we trusted Him? Even if it is His words, should we? can we?

Nouman Ali Khan cannot quote a single verse of the Quran to show that we must/can follow the sunnah and hadith of the Messenger. Every verse he says 'means' follow the sunnah is his interpretation and taken out of context. As the Quran says that we AND the Messenger must follow only the Quran, then Nouman and everyone else following hadith are creating a contradiction in the Quran when they give this false interpretation; the Quran says it has no contradictions so may Allah bless them for making it have many. I would quote all the relevant verses of the Quran to support the above, but they will be ignored by those who have a 'muslim' name only and not a muslim heart and mind . The Quran does not go past their throats since it is stiffened and encircled by their hadith yoke. Where is Nouman? A lesson for all those who pretend to study and teach the Quran. The Quran says that only those who are pure of mind should approach it. This means that whatever beliefs one have these must not cloud the understanding/interpretation of the Quran. The Quran says that we must judge everything we do/believe by it and not judge the Quran by what we believe. Now the most important lesson, the Quran says that it has no contradictions. At the simplest level this means that it does not say in one verse that there is one God and in another two gods. The Quran has in many places Allah speaking using the terms ‘Us’ and ‘We’ and this can either be understood as words of plurality, there being more than one god, or words of ‘royalty’, when those in positions of power speak in this way as a sign of their power and authority. It is easy to see that the latter applies since we have surah 112 saying God is the one and only. We have used the Quran to confirm the true meaning of something that may be understood in a number of ways. This example is easy to understand but there and many cases in the Quran where such a straight forward reading is not apparent and we need to think deeper. There are also a number of cases where our beliefs make us ignore parts of the Quran which do not agree with our understanding of a verse. 4:64 used by Brother Nouman is one such example. He has understood this to mean that whatever decision the Messenger came to over issues raised by people we must accept that this means following the Sunnah and hadith of the Messenger. The preceding verses put this in context as it says in: 4:61 When they are told, “Come to what God has revealed and to the Messenger”, you see the hypocrites shunning him completely. There is no mention here of obedience to the Messenger is following his Sunnah but a clear statement that we are all invited to follow the QURAN. As the Messenger was a walking Quran his Sunnah was exactly this, to follow and decide according to the Quran but that is not enough for us, no, we must follow hadith and Sunnah traditions that other human beings have assigned to the Messenger and unless you have spent 40years of hadith studies you should not question them, regardless of what nonsense they speak. If the sahaba saw the Quran in the Messenger and his Sunnah was the Quran realised, than why do have him marrying 6year old girls when the Quran says marriage is a binding contract between adults, or saying it is alright to kill innocent women and children of your enemy because they belong to your enemy when the Quran says killing one innocent is like killing humanity? Back to Nouman and following hadith. There are a number of verses that say that the only hadith we should follow is the Quran, that the only thing the Messenger followed was the Quran, that we must not follow our ancestors, etc and these represent the verses of judgement that tells us that we cannot follow anything other than the Quran. As well as 4:64 we can quote ‘Obey Allah and obey the Messenger’ which is understood that we must follow hadith, but again this is an interpretation that is not confirmed by the Quran and goes against the ‘do not follow anything other than the Quran’ verses. So a man can sit in front of a huge audience, speak eloquently and with humour, but unless he is speaking the truth then he is just ignoring the Quran, not judging by it, and, as the Quran says, is the deaf, dumb and blind to the truth preaching to the deaf, dumb and blind. Anyone thanking Nouman for his revelationary interpretation of 4:64 had better start reading the Quran for themselves before it is too late.

+Anthony 2:151 To this end, We have sent among you a Messenger of your own, conveying to you Our revelations and helping you grow in goodness. And he empowers you with the knowledge of the Book and wisdom, and thus, he teaches you what you knew not. This says Allah has given the Messenger the Book which all scholars agree is the Quran and the only contention is the word ‘wisdom’ which they say means the hadith. There is no mention of the word hadith in this verse so this is an interpretation which goes against other verses of the Quran which clearly states the only hadith to follow is the hadith of Allah. The wisdom of this verse is clearly defined in other verses, for example: The Book Of Wisdom Is The Quran 31:1 A.L.M. Alif-Laam-Meem. 31:2 These are the verses of the Book, full of wisdom. 31:3 Providing guidance and mercy to those who wish to live a balanced life and do good to humanity. 31:4 Such people strive to establish the Divine System and set up the Economic Order of Zakaat. For, it is they who have conviction in the eternity of the human ‘self’ and therefore, in the life to come. 31:5 They are the ones who are on the guided path of their Lord and they are the ones who will be ultimately successful. The Quran Is Divine Wisdom-No Other Wisdom Needed 36:1 Y.S. Ya-Seen! 36:2 The Wise Qur’an is a witness in itself that: 36:3 Surely, you are one of the Messengers. 36:4 On a straight path. 36:5 It is a revelation of the Almighty, the Merciful. 36:6 That you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned, and are, therefore, unaware of what is right and what is wrong. [2:125, 7:158, 28:46, 32:3] Let me reiterate the position of the Quran as to what was Revealed to the Messenger: The Quran Was The Only Revelation Given To The Messenger 6:19 Say (O Messenger), "What could be the greatest witness?” Say, “God is Witness between me and you. This Qur’an has been revealed to me so that I may warn you as well as whomever it reaches. Do you bear witness that there are other deities besides God?” Say, “I bear no such witness.” Say, “He is the One God. I disown what you associate with Him.” 6:20 Those who have been given the scripture, recognize this (Message) as they recognize their sons. Yet those who have squandered their own ‘self’ fail to accept such undeniable truth. 6:21 Who can be a greater transgressor than the one who invents a lie against God and denies His revelations? Those who choose to do wrong, will not succeed.

+Anthony No Messenger Says To Follow Their Sunnah Or Hadith 3:79 Never would a human being whom God has blessed with the scripture, wisdom and even prophetic office, thereafter say to people, “Be servants of me instead of God.” Rather, he would say, “Become true devotees of the Lord according to the scripture you teach and explain.” 3:80 Nor would he instruct you to take angels and the Prophets for lords and patrons. What! Would he ever enjoin upon you unbelief after you have surrendered to God? True Belief Results From One God, One Message In One Book 4:136 O You who believe (and call yourselves Muslims!) Believe in God and His Messenger, and the Book He has revealed to His Messenger, and in (the existing truth in) the previous scripture. One who denies God, and His Angels, and His Books, and His Messengers, and the Last Day, has gone far astray. The Quran-Follow It And Nothing Else 6:155 And now this Qur’an is the Blessed Book that We have revealed. So follow it and live upright so that you attain mercy (and your human potential is guaranteed development, like the fetus grows in the mother’s womb.) The Only Book Revealed To The Messenger-The Only Book We Can Follow 7:1 A.L.M.S. 7:2 This Book has been revealed to you (O Messenger), so you shall harbor no doubt about it in your heart - in order that with it you may warn (the erring). And it is a Reminder for the believers. [Sadr = Chest = Breast = Heart. Haraj = Difficulty = Burden = Doubt = Hardship = Loss = Tightness in chest] 7:3 You shall all follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and follow no masters other than Him. How seldom do you keep this in mind! [Awliya = Protecting friends = Allies = Masters] 100% Prohibition On Following Man Made Hadith 7:185 Can they not see (and correlate what he tells them with) the Dominion of the heavens and the earth and what Allah has created? Does it ever occur to them that the end of their own life may be near (hence the time to make the right decisions is not unlimited)? What HADITH besides the Qur’an, are they going to believe after him? The Example Of The Messenger-He Follows The Quran Alone If he had his hadith as well it would have clearly stated that we can have the Quran and this hadith but the verse says only the Quran is revelation and only follow this 10:15 When Our messages are conveyed to them in all clarity, those who do not expect that they are destined to meet with Us (want to strike a deal with the Messenger). They say, “Bring us a Qur’an other than this or make some changes in it.” Say (O Prophet), "I cannot possibly change it on my own. I only follow what is revealed to me. If I disobey my Lord, I fear the retribution of an awesome Day." 10:16 Say, "If God willed otherwise, I would not have recited and conveyed this to you, nor would I have made you aware of it. I have dwelt among you a whole lifetime before this. Will you not, then, use your sense?” [You have always called me Ameen (Trustworthy) and Sadiq (Truthful). 7:184] 10:17 Who does a greater wrong than the one who forges a lie against God, or denies His revelations? But the guilty will never prosper. The Messenger Was Not To Be Diverted From The Quran 28:86 (O Prophet) you never expected that this Book will be bestowed upon you. But it is a mercy from your Lord (to all humanity). So, you shall never side with the deniers of the truth. 28:87 And let not anyone divert you from God's messages after they have been sent down to you. But, invite people to your Lord and be not of those who associate others with Him. [Do not uphold systems other than the Divinely ordained System of Life] 28:88 Do not call on another god besides God. There is no god but He. Everything will perish except His Eternal Self. To Him belongs all Governance, Command and Judgment, and to Him you will be returned. [Do not heed human ‘authorities’ and manmade systems contrary to the Divine Commandments] Condemnation For Following Hadith Of Men-Aversive to Quran 31:6 But among people, there are those who invest their time in HADITH which is unfounded, so as to lead those without knowledge away from the Path of Allah, making mockery of it (the Qur'an). For such there is shameful punishment in store. [In order to defend the ‘Imams’ of Hadith, some commentators try to explain away ‘Lahwal Hadith’ as music. This obviously makes no linguistic or contextual sense]. 31:7 Whenever our verses are conveyed to such a purchaser of hadith, he turns away in arrogance as if he never heard them - as if there were deafness in his ears. so give him the tidings of a painful doom. Prohibition On Searching For Hadith 33:53 O You who have chosen to be graced with belief! Do not enter the Prophet's homes unless you are given permission. When invited to dine, arrive not too early waiting for preparation of the meal. When you are invited, come at the appointed time, and when you have finished eating, disperse. Linger not in the quest of HADITH (vain talk). Behold, this might hurt the Prophet, and he would be shy to say so. But Allah is not shy of telling you what is Right. And if you ask something you need from the ladies (the household of the Prophet), ask them from behind the curtain. This is good for your hearts and for their hearts. (Respect of privacy is an essential component of mutual respect). It is not for you to hurt the Messenger, nor that you should ever marry his wives after him. Verily, this would be a great offense in the Sight of Allah. (They are their mothers 33:6). The Quran-The Only Book-The Only Message To Follow-No Partners In Deen 39:1 The revelation of this Book issues from God, the Almighty, the Wise. 39:2 We have revealed this Book to you (O Prophet) setting forth the truth. Therefore, serve God sincere in your faith in Him alone. 39:3 Proclaim that pure Religion is for God alone. And yet, those who take patrons besides Him say, “We worship them so that they may bring us near to God.” God will judge between them concerning that wherein they differ. God does not guide any who is a stubborn liar and chooses to remain in denial. [4:88, 5:35, 10:18, 17:57] The Best Hadith Explained 39:21 Have you not realized that it is God Who sends down water from the Height, and then leads it through the earth to form wells and springs? And then He brings forth a variety of colourful vegetation. Then you see the crops ripen turning golden yellow, and in the end He makes them crumble away (with grain aside). Surely, therein is a Reminder to those who wish to develop their insight. 39:22 If God renders one’s chest open to Islam He will be following a Light from his Sustainer. But those whose hearts are hardened against God’s Reminder only harm themselves. They are most obviously lost in error. 39:23 God has now revealed the best Hadith, a Book fully consistent within itself. It marks out both ways (to success and failure) repeating its messages in diverse forms. Herewith shiver the skins of those who have some idea of the Glory of their Lord, and then, their skins and their hearts soften at God's Reminder. This is the Guidance of God, and with it He guides one who seeks Guidance. Whereas one who follows a path that God has declared to be wrong, goes astray and he cannot find a guide. [4:88, 15:87. Hadith = Narration] 39:24 Oh, think of him who defends himself against the suffering on the Resurrection Day, only with his face! And it will be said to the violators of permanent Values, “Taste now what you had sown!” 39:25 Those who lived before their times, also denied the Truth. So the punishment befell them from directions they could not have imagined.

+Anthony The Qur'an says that a person can believe and disbelieve multiple times and their fate will reside with Allah so there is no earthly punishment for apostasy in the Qur'an. The Messenger would not then receive another revelation from Allah that he made his hadith and sunnah which then made apostasy punishable by death. It does not make sense that Allah would make a ruling in the Qur'an to be overruled by Muhammad in hadith that were recorded 230 years after the death of the Messenger.The Qur'an says it explains itself, we do not need hadith to explain it.The Qur'an says it is complete and fully detailed so we do not need anything else, any other details to make it more 'complete'. If you do something that is not mentioned in the Qur'an then this is referred to as innovation whether it is done by the majority or not. That is why I mentioned the Quran clearly stating that when every generation that had a Messenger bring then Revelation the people rejected this for their ancestral beliefs. We have the eternal Message in the Qur'an and people are still bringing ancestral narrated tales and these are made equal or surpassing the Qur'an, the Word of Allah.

+Anthony Sorry, we can keep going round in circles debating the meaning of each verse and I respect your understanding though I do not agree with them. This can only resolved by following:If the sunnah and hadith are meant to have the importance that the majority Muslims give them, then you would expect the Qur'an to say at least once that we can follow the Sunnah and hadith of the Messenger. It does not.Over 25 times the word hadith is used in the Qur'an and a good few times for the word sunnah, but never once is it mentioned that we are allowed to follow anything other than the Qur'an. We are only left with an interpretation of hikma, etc to mean that something other than the Qur'an ewes given to the Messenger which means a contradiction is created in the Qur'an between this understanding and the many verses stating otherwise.There are numerous websites debunking all your arguments presented for following hadith, please look at them and it is up to you to accept them or not. What you cannot do is dismiss what the Qur'an says.

You just have to apply some common sense. Assume your great grand father was a sahabi (a companion of Prophet Muhammad). And he told your grand father some event from the life of Prophet. Now your grand father who is an old man, tells you that , "My son, I heard my father telling me an incident happened in the life of Prophet..." Would you not believe him and apply that lesson in your life?

Do people not understand that if we were in the time of the Prophet (PBUH) the Quran was him. The Quran came from him and was inseparable from him. It was impossible to follow the Quran and not the Prophet (PBUH) because it was his message. To follow the Quran is to follow the Prophet (PBUH).
@Creative.Pursuit
@Creative.Pursuit 7 лет назад
guy5140 that's exactly what you would expect the "sunnah" to be; a reflection of the quran. If the prophet saw was a walking talking quran and he relayed that same message to the people you would expect the hadiths to be similar regarding what's in the quran. then where do all these extra laws that come into play? If god never told Muhammad saw that gold is haram why does the hadith claim he did told his people that? that's the kind of things that makes people cling to the quran and reject other claims
@guy5140
@guy5140 7 лет назад
Yes that is correct. The Prophet SAW took great and successful care to separate his personal words from that of the Quran. I understand why people would be cautious of Hadith. There is 100s of thousands of them. Thankfully we've had brilliant scholars that sorted them out for us based on quantity and quality of links to the Hadith. That is what Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim are. So for a Muslim to not follow Hadith simply demonstrates a lack of understanding/knowledge of Islamic history. It seems to me that you weren't arguing. You just wanted to voice what would be these people's concerns. This is a response to that.
@Creative.Pursuit
@Creative.Pursuit 7 лет назад
guy5140 the hadiths of apostasy, stoning, and gold and silk being haram isn't part of the 100's of thousands of hadiths. It's part of the narrowed down several thousands shahi hadiths. yet the same question arises for those shahi hadiths which is why is the prophet making up his own rulings when the quran specifically forbids him? It's either people admit it's a lie or they admit it was things done for that time ONLY for certain reasons and it doesn't apply to islam as a mandated command. If there is a disease within a certain animal an Islamic country may temporarily make the animal unlawful meaning haram. which is fine because of health reasons and it's not making it haram permenatly based on god based claims. But scholars say things such as gold and silk are haram for men...PERIOD. they don't say it was in certain context or anything. Plus people will believe what they want to believe, including myself. It's a human ego issue but majority don't care enough to change that about themselves. People don't wanna learn they want their version of islam to be true because that's the reality they hold dear. noone wants to be in their 70s and realize this or that hadees has been a lie this whole time. noone wants to be looked at weird and openly ask why quran doesn't mention so many of the things scholars want to claim. The conversation is avoided too many times. I say the conversation might be more important than anything but people love to judge and say no no u shouldn't do or say this or that or question this. It's ignorance.
@guy5140
@guy5140 7 лет назад
I'm sure if one follows a Hadith and finds out it was false when they are 70, Allah would not be displeased with them. Allah cares about the intention and the heart. To follow some hadiths is far better than following none at all. Its a shame really, since ignorance can easily be addressed when one has the slightest bit as strength. Its interesting because the world is becoming more connected then ever before. Islam has been suffering from the pressure of globalization. That also means however that if islam can rise to the level globalization requires it will become even better than any golden period in islamic history.
@Creative.Pursuit
@Creative.Pursuit 7 лет назад
guy5140 no to say it's better to just follow some hadiths than none is also ignorance sorry to say. It's about truth it should not be followed just to be followed. what's important is what the quran has. scholars need to stop being apologitcs and say it how it is. "bukharis hadiths have mistakes in them." which then puts the hadiths literature under a microscope. If one hadith is wrong and it's suppose to be authentic then how many other ones are wrong that people believe in daily.

Brother Nauman. The Hadees writers wrote their books 200/250 years later of SAW death. They were neither eye witness nor had any documented papers in their hands. If you are a judge of a court and some one files a case with out producing eye witness or written proof would you give your verdict in favor of claimant?? Those Hadees writers have inflicted so much insults in honor of Holy Prophet SAW and in my opinion not a single Muslim will ever tolerate it. SAW always followed Quoran and that was his Sunna.

+Ali Syed you have no clue what you talking about, every Sahaba who nerated the Hadiths, wrote them. Then they were passed on to the Tabaeen and to Tabatabaeen. In addition, they were wrote as books like we have today by imam Sahih Albukhari and Sahih Muslim. If you reject the Hadiths, then why do you accept the Quran, because the Quran wasn't revealed all at once as a book, it was sent down gradually and recited and taught to the Sahabas from that same mouth who also taught the Hadiths PBUH? And those same Sahabas transcribed the Quran, it doesn't make sense. The teaching of the Hadiths to prophet PBUH also from Allah SWT, so only the ignorant reject the authentic Hadiths.

The Hadees writers have succeeded in brainwashing the masses and entangled all Muslims to blindly following in mere wasteful rituals and turned Islam Deen into Islam Mazhab. But Hadees writers threw all the Muslims down to gutters.

+Noor Z Allah SWT has blessed mankind with extra ordinary two qualities. Commonsense and Wisdom. There are millions and millions of people who have forfeited these qualities and believe in absurdities. Most of the companions of Holy Prophet SAW were not even educated but they understood the messages loud and clear. In Quoran it is mentioned that Allah SWT is addressing followers this is the most easiest book . So Allah SWT is telling lies. It is the most difficult book and needs hadees. Do you know who were Hadees writers and when they wrote it. Hadees writers were all Persians and were influenced of Zoroastrian religion They wrote it 200/250 years later of SAW death. Neither they were eye witness nor had any documented papers in their hands. They claim it was on hearsay. All wrong. What ever is in Quoran that is Islam Deen which is not there that has nothing to do with Islam. Five times prayers were included by Zoroastrian followers. Keep on reading and repeating same words bowing and prostrating what kind of benefits or rewards they got from Allah SWT. . They are in fact more gone down into gutters. Going to haj is another business. Every one is making money out of that. Circling Khana kabbah seven time is all waste of time. It was not holy Prophet SAW did it but he invited all followers to come to Mecca and show brotherhood. Let the local host the guests by slaughtering animals. Meet each other and resolve major issues of their native countries with Ameer ul Momineen. Islam is not Mazhab but those hadees writers made it Mazhab and you and all other brainwashed by Mullha cannot escape it. I see how Muslims are out disobeying Quoran. Do not divide into sects. They are divided in more then 100 sects. Do not use bad words, But they are doing it. Do not show anger. but they do it. Do not tell lies, Do not cheat, and several other commandments but they all disobey. Are they Muslims. Quoran has declared them hypocrites.

The only Sunnah acceptable in the Sight of Allah swt is Sunnat-illah i.e the Sunnah of Allah, which has its laws, regulations, guidelines, guidance and wisdom enshrined in Al-Quran. All else is man-made corruption of Deen. Muslims object very strongly in the gospels as being man-made. They say that the Injeel that Allah mentions is no where to be found. Yet the majority of muslims disregard the Quran, pay it lip service and instead quote you man-made hadith. Brother Nauman, with his vast Arabic language knowledge needs to concede that the only sunnah brought by Prophet Mohammed was Al- Quran. Rasool-Allah task was ONLY TO DELIVER THE MESSAGE, further the Quran states categorically that he was not even allowed to explain the Quran!! This task was the task of Allah swt. Yet we have over 1.5million hadith, written over 200years after the Messenger of Allah passed away. On the death bed, the Prophet asked "Have i delivered the Message." He did not say- Have i delivered the Message and my sunnah and my hadith!!!!!!

So instead of listening to those imams/scholars/whatsoever use your brain, as Allah tells us all to study the Quran and find the truth. Allah loves those who use reason. Don't let people intimidate you with "you can't understand it if this or that" you have all the power to find the real meaning of the verses with pure intentions and genuine prayer to Allah for guidance. He is your best ally and Quran is everything you need to establish a beautiful life in accordance with God's laws. Peace and love to you!

@Mohamud Ahmed no, you do not need to speak Arabic, all you can do is to have dictionary and translate it on your own, or use a translation free from any sectarian influences. Allah says that all you need is pure heart and mind to see the truth in the Quran. As Quran is self-explanatory. It is a guidance for all humankind, not just Arabs. If Muhammad was Polish. The Quran would have been revealed in Polish, so don't think Arabic language is any special to God, as he knows all the languages. No need for self-proclaimed clergymen that Allah never needed for anyone. It's a business just like it is in Catholicism. And if you look in the Quran the teacher of Quran is Allah. Not Muhammad. "God is the teacher of Quran" 55:1-2 "Do not move youe tongue (O Muhammad) in anticipation of Quran. It is we who put it together as a Quran. Once we recite it, you shall follow it. Then, it is WE WHO EXPLAIN IT." 75:16-19 You can visit website of a mosque in the US if you don't trust me because of my background, age, gender, or lack of Arabic skills. www.masjidtucson.org they have all the important information and tools to submit to God alone and stop worshipping idols. @Mohamud Ahmed sweetheart, we can juggle Quranic verses back and forth to prove our points, but what's the purpose. It's we that choose to be guided or misguided and I am only accountable of my own actions, so I really don't care for what you believe in, there is no compulsion on religion and Allah wanted all people to live in peace, so you do you. I have a right to show people true image of Islam though, according to QURAN which is the only guidance for humankind. And I follow what our beloved prophet followed. Majority doesn't mean they're right. As Allah states most people who think they believe. They in fact disbelieve. So let Allah be the judge and let people live. I want no harm, I just want people to free themselves from indoctrination. Because I was indoctrinated too as a child and teenager when I was still Catholic. And only freedom of research and choice can lead you to the truth. I just ask people to think for themselves. They will choose their own path. Allah loves those who use reason. But in the end we have free will and we'll do what we think is right. I appreciate you for engaging in the discussion, but I will respectfully disagree with you in that matter and pursue following the true Islam and true submission to God alone. Salam.

1). You misunderstood the Verse in a SEVERE way. 2). Hint: the atheist, Christians, and Jews had NO problem making Mohammad judge and leader of affairs. Yet they don't believe. Even until they accept him politically, they STILL disbelieve (in him as a prophet). 3). It isn't about knowledge through learning, it's about guidance through REFLECTION.

Sister, you are so correct. NAK usually talks a great deal of sense, but I have to say he is way wrong on this one. What is more perplexing is that i am pretty damn sure he knows the truth about it! The Quran clearly states that: " The only Sunnah acceptable in the Sight of Allah is Sunnat-Illah." i.e THE SUNNAH OF ALLAH= The Quran. Allah swt did not Send Rasool parc to issue his own sunnah! Allah swt Sent Rasool parc to DELIVER THE MESSAGE OF THE QURAN. Why is NAK ( Nauman Ali Khan) trying to appease sunni Muslims?? Has he forgotten that the Quran states: " Hold on to the Rope of Allah and do not become divided into sects." What is the Rope of Allah? It is the Quran ONLY. It does not include anything man-made. 77:50 "In what hadith after this will you believe."

I totally agree with Khadijah. Its very simply what is written in the Quran. If these prophet worshippers have to go to such lengths to explain why Allah would allow you to follow a book, written by a human (hundreds of years after the Quran) then you prob dont have a good base.

Shocking that brother NAK would so badly misquote a verse of the Quran and without any content. He often says the non-believers misquote the Quran taking verses in isolation but this is exactly what he has done here. The verse he quotes in the talk is from surah nisa chapter 4 verse 65 which is; “But no, by your Lord, THEY will not believe until THEY make you, judge concerning that over which THEY dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in submission.” So when Allah says THEY who is he referring to? If you read from verses 4:60 to this verse you will note that THEY is the hypocrites. So then the verse reads as follows; “But no, by your Lord, THEY (the hypocrites) will not believe until THEY (the hypocrites) make you, judge concerning that over which THEY (the hypocrites) dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in submission.” The following verse which NAK also mentions 4:66 says: “And if We had decreed upon them, "Kill yourselves" or "Leave your homes," they would not have done it, except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].” In this verse Allah is giving an example if he had ordered them to kill themselves or leave their homes that would have been better for them. So reading verses 65 & 66 you can see Allah is saying the hypocrites will only believe when the prophet becomes judge in their disputes, but Allah then says in the following verse they would have been better served if they had followed Allah’s command even if it meant killing their self. The 2 verse after this go on to say if they followed Allah’s command then they we have got great reward and have been guided to the straight path.

Tbh, most people that dictate the authenticity of hadiths do not have a strong understanding of Imaan to start with. It is purely to show that you have an opinion on the topic and you know what you’re talking about, but in reality you’re ignorant. Sometimes it’s better to say that you don’t know and voice your opinion when you do

Not necessarily, while hadiths are important, many make them law and Quran secondary, simply because many are weak hadiths and have led to mass confusion. Quran was revealed through the prophet and it was observed through the prophet. Prophet was a man, his life was led by the dictation of Allah swt.

I have great respect for Nouman Ali. But we Quranists believe that all the prophets including Muhammad judged by the Quran (he doesn't make up his own rules) as detailed in the Quran itself: Q5:48 And unto thee have We revealed the Scripture with the truth, confirming whatever Scripture was before it, and a watcher over it. So JUDGE between them BY that which Allah hath revealed, and follow not their desires away from the truth which hath come unto thee... Q6:114-5 Shall I seek other than Allah for JUDGE, when He it is Who hath revealed unto you (this) Scripture, fully explained?... Q3:23Hast thou not seen how those who have received a portion of the Scripture invoke the Scripture of Allah (in their disputes) that it may JUDGE between them; then a faction of them turn away, being opposed (to it)? Q4:105 Lo! We reveal unto thee the Scripture with the truth, that thou mayst JUDGE between mankind by that which Allah showeth thee. And be not leader for the treacherous; Q5:43 How come they unto thee for JUDGEMENT when they have the Torah, wherein Allah hath delivered JUDGEMENT (for them)?... Q2:213 Mankind were one community, and Allah sent (unto them) prophets as bearers of good tidings and as warners, and revealed therewith the Scripture with the truth that it might JUDGE between mankind concerning that wherein they differed. Q5:44,45,47 ...Whoso JUDGETH not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are wrong-doers. So the Quran actually spells it out for you that the prophet was commanded to judge by the revelation of God or the Scripture (which is the Quran and earlier books) and that he was commanded to say that he is A FOLLOWER of the Quran: Q6:50,7:203,10:15, 46:9 ...Say: I follow only that which is inspired in me from my Lord... And in your whole video, you only mention Q4:65-66 (which doesn't support your position anyway), whereas there are lots of verses disproving the Hadith which Quranists have put forth all this time. There are PLENTY of these. And in your whole video, you mention nothing about Bukhari (as if Bukhari = Muhammad). If we are commanded to believe in (1) God, (2) His angels, (3) His messengers, (4) His holy books and (5) the day of judgement as in Q2:285 and Q2:177, why do we believe in Bukhari who was neither a messenger of God, nor was his book Sahih Bukhari a holy book of God? We are commanded to believe in Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah because they were messengers of God, Bukhari was not! We are commanded to believe in the Quran and the Scriptures before it (like the Gospel and the Torah), not the books AFTER it (like Sahih Bukhari). There is no commandment to believe in books after the Quran. The Quran is clear and doesn't need explanation, complete, fully-detailed, a book in which there is no doubt, authored by God and preserved by God. Sahih Bukhari is a book full of doubts, written by a somebody called Bukhari (I don't really know who he is or whether or not God gave him permission/approval to write it), preserved by Bukhari (through the science of verifying hearsays which happened 200 years after the actual event, which is incredible since most people today argue about what was said several days ago over things which are not as contested or as politicized as religious matters). Praise be unto God and peace be upon you all!

+ja sha Sorry, if I was giving the impression that I'm dividing up the ummah. I wasn't. It's just that Nouman Ali was talking about "those people who reject the Hadith as a source of divine law" and I was just trying to defend the position of "those who reject the Hadith as a source of divine law". You see how it's so long. The term quranist I think is just a shorter form of it. I don't think there's anything wrong with labeling your opinion, the problem is with creating sects/divisions among ourselves. I don't see it as "us vs. them" but instead as "how can I help out my own brothers and sisters to see the truth". I pray with them, I go to mosques with them (although I do feel disgusted and uneasy seeing the big, Arabic calligraphy of Muhammad and Allah right next to each other in front of the mosque as if we were worshiping the two), I socialize with them (in religious discussions most of which aren't really related to Hadith). I don't think they're any different than me, it's just that they're misguided on one very crucial thing and it's my duty to invite to the truth. And by no means am I saying Quranists live by the Quran or uphold the Quran more than Sunnis or Shias, because I've seen some arrogant, boastful, untruthful Quranists, while I've seen some humble and godfearing Sunnis. And I have a lot of respect for Ahmadinejad, Bashar al-Asaad and Hezbollah for standing up for what's right and standing up against oppression.

+Mohammed Pahlev Zaman I was ranting on and on because I was really disappointed at Nouman Ali. Quranists have put forth hundreds of verses disproving the Hadith. I'm sure he knows this and I'm sure he researched many of our arguments before he gave a lecture to all these people. But in this lecture he just brushed all those aside and used two verses to disprove quranism. Isn't that lopsided? Isn't that showing parts of the Scripture and hiding other parts which the people of the book were accused of? So I just looked up the word 'judge' (H-K-M) and all of its occurrences online (corpus.quran.com is a very very very good site) and posted them here to prove that prophets judge by their scripture (like this good one I forgot to include): Q5:44 Lo! We did reveal the Torah, wherein is guidance and a light, by which the prophets who surrendered (unto Allah) judged the Jews, and the rabbis and the priests (judged) by such of Allah's Scripture as they were bidden to observe, and thereunto were they witnesses. So fear not mankind, but fear Me. And My revelations for a little gain. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are disbelievers. So it's clear that prophets judged among their people by their scripture; they don't make up their own rules using their limited human brain. And they would be lost without their scripture, which is guidance from the All-Wise. Did Nouman Ali forget to look up the word 'judge' in the Quran?? I really hope so, because if not he's showing parts of the Quran and hiding other parts and selling out verses for a small gain. And while I'm here, I just want to add that the Hadith is an insult to God. God miraculously preserved the Quran. Well, that's nothing special, Bukhari could do that too.. He preserved the word of Muhammad. Even if God never preserved the Quran, he could have preserved it for us. And it is also an insult to Muhammad, because it's saying that God sent a message, A, B and C to humanity through his messenger and his messenger delivered A, B, C, D and E. No, I refuse to believe that! When God sent his messenger to say A, B and C to us, he exactly said A, B and C to us, not more, not less and not changed. Otherwise he is a bad messenger. And do you know why it's called "The Sayings of the Prophet'? Because if it were called "The Sayings of the Messenger" then it would be obvious that "The Sayings of the Messenger" = "The Word of God" because the word of a messenger is the identical to the word of the one who sent him (unless we were sent a bad messenger).

if the creator swears by a created thing, is that a binding oath? If the creator swears by something unchanging that is one thing, but to swear by something that is changeable, that is nothing. What holds Allah to his word? How is his oath binding or trustworthy to swear by something that is in his own power. Would you trust someone who took an oath on a stick of gum that they held in their own hand? Would that not be a meaningless oath?

I appreciate Ustadh Nouman's effort all this while to spread the teaching of the Quran and Sunnah, so that people would benefit them both in this world and in the hereafter.

You also said that, "Quran is complete" means it is complete as a miracle and it was revealed when people were asking from miracle. Yes, you are right. In many other places people asked prophet about miracle, but Allah kept saying that he will not bestow any miracle on prophet other than Quran. So, Mr. Nouman, now do you believe those hadiths as false that says prophet had miracle?? 17:59: "And We refrain from sending signs / miracles (Arabic: bil-ayati), only because the former generations treated them as false: 13.7 : "And the Unbelievers say: "Why is not a miracle (Arabic: ayatun) sent down to him from his Lord?" 30.58 : "Verily We have coined for mankind in the Quran all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if you come to them with a miracle (Arabic: bi-ayati), those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters!" 20.133: "They say: "Why does he not bring us a sign / miracle (Arabic: bi-ayati) from his Lord?" Since I am told I must follow hadith in order to pray because the instruction of how to stand, what to say, when to prostate etc etc etc, are not in the Qur'an, and since we have to pray 5 times a day, 7 days a week so is very important, is there anyone who can give me an undisputed hadith with the complete instructions along the lines of 'it was narrated b y so and so that the Messenger of Allah said pray as you see me pray' and then the full details are given.This is my third attempt at getting this information from Bukharians and I believe that there are no such complete details and they pray not by following Qur'an, not hadith but given to us by our ancestors. The Qur'an unreservedly condemns following practices handed down by our ancestors which are not confirmed by the Qur'an.

The all debate is nothing to do with authenticity of Hadith Books we have in our hands today. In fact nobody is able to decide if they are actual from our prophet. why? because Our Prophet and 4 Caliphs never tried to had them written. They were very much aware of the position of Sunnah and Quran.
