I absolutely love this lecturer, he makes things that are difficult to understand (especially when you live in the West and don't speak Arabic) and explains it in such an easy and beautiful way. Thanks for the video :D
Ya but once you realize what he said earlier, you realize it is miraculous. What he said earlier is that at the time it was an oral tradition. The Quran still preserved that palindrome, one sign of its authenticity despite being coming from an oral tradition.
The class was to teach NON MUSLIMS about Islam and the Quran and bring the community together with its Muslim neighbors. Non Muslims mix. Insha'Allah you gained some knowledge from the video.

It is pretty improbable given it is an entire sentence that was a palindrome. In English the translation is "Declare the greatness of your lord." Attempt to get that sentence in any language as a palindrome. You would be extremely hard pressed if not impossible, yet the entire sentence was used in the Quran as a palindrome.
Aleikum assalaam siss, I dont think you can email him sister. but you should sign up on his onhline school. It is Bayyinah.tv / Bayyinah.com He has his school in Dales USA but you can yoin the classes online. it is awesomeeeeeee I do it 2 !!!
The English translation is irrelevant. The verse is compose of only two words (including a single letter possessive pronoun and another single letter). If you google "palindromes" you can find many examples of them in English. Granted, most of them are nonsense, but you'll find a handful that make some sense. But anyway, I don't wish to argue more about this. The Quran is a wondrous book as it is without having to resort to less convincing arguments or possible coincidences.
I have to be honest. The palindrome claim is not very convincing, because it's possible that the palindrome was purely incidental. It would be one thing if it was a very improbable, long palindrome that spanned several words, but this is a short enough sequence that it could be a coincidence.
Well this is just an example, there many other different type of miracles like the structure of surah baqara, it has 9 different categories 1 is linked with 9, 2nd with 8th, 3rd with 7th, 4th with 6th and 5th right in the middle this is the same strcture just like with ayatul kursi
