"THE RACE" at Royal North Shore Hospital ICU 

It is an Australian tradition that on the first day of November the nation stops in its tracks for the famous Melbourne Cup. At Royal North Shore Hospital Intensive Care Unit the staff take this seriously. While critically ill patients are being cared for, history is being made in the corridor.
This 7 minute short film was made for a fundraising evening for the Northcare Foundation. This is a not-for-profit organisation set up by Professor Malcolm Fisher in 1997. It raises money for education and research for nurses and doctors working in ICU at Royal North Shore Hospital. See www.dingocreek.com/nc/
