It's a quality of life problem. The only thing that corrections did was get me vested with the state pension plan and once I did that I moved on to other positions within the state.
They should recruit ex-cons, who have demonstrated their willingness to stay out of trouble since released and offer a clean record after a certain period as an officer.
They hired women in men's prison...what's the difference? Plus, the sissies out here who have no "experience" in criminal behavior, who become guards don't know how to handle the inmates and thus you have what we have as a result... high turnover and the convicts running the show.
@@impulseelectrobrine1259the numbers are right with the exception of added overtime. At default with no overtime I'm making at least 80,000. There are officers I work with that have a shit ton of overtime worked. They are making 200,000. But they work 16 hours 7 days a week. Not healthy but they still have a crap ton of vacation hours to use.
