Crazy how the first 11% of the level is so brutally hard that a 31% run is more impressive than a 14%-100% run

Vision defeated Silent Clubstep five days ago, what a mad man his determination is unmatched!

I stopped playing geometry dash in 2016. Randomly looked up this infamous level today. I also saw vision's video completing the level. This is absolutely fucking inconceivable. I can't believe this level was actually possible.

As of 13th August 2023 Vision became the 2nd person to beat Silent Clubstep! This also happened to be the exact day of Geometry Dash's 10th anniversary.

Corrections and comments from someone who's been in the race since the start: 8:18 Atomic had 8% tied with a few other people back in 2018, before Errors 7% iirc 8:50 yes it was lol, nobody uploaded it cause it was well known to be the easiest part by far 11:32 Icedcave had 71-92 on the original level 4 days before Azaftw made the 8joh challenge, and was the first person to do the 8 jumps in one run 12:40 Stormflys run was super nerfed, the actual first person to do it with mirror portal was my run of 70-95 13:25 Errors 67-100 run used skips and was on a slightly nerfed version btw 13:38 Both me and Icedcave were trying to do each part of the level at the time, I had already done 24-51 before his run of it was uploaded but didnt upload since I was waiting until I had videos of each part to upload as a segmented run of the full level 14:41 14-51 is easier than the 48-76 i had at the time and you just skipped over for some reason but ok 15:30 48-98 is way harder than 0-9 not "just barely" 16:03 I already had 24-67 at the time but not uploaded since I was waiting until I passed the dual, which would unfortunately take me way too long since I mindblocked it lol 17:12 Hyperbola wasnt the first to do the ship, I uploaded a vid of 5-10 on June 28th (also idk why you called 5-11 harder than 48-98 like youre really underrating that run) 17:31 not true, some of us think the spam is harder (me included) 20:47 Error's practice mode run wasnt the record at the time, it was my own 88 attempt practice run that got beaten by Vision's run 21:30 I didn't leave the race actually, I continued slowly making progress like finishing off 47-100 and 14-65, and continuing my 24-100 grind since I was still insanely mindblocked 23:45 not true, Paqoe just made the vid public 3 days later, she actually got 25% on the 17th 23:58 yes it was lol, 24-100 is harder than 0-16 25:42 Diamond was playing the Realvet version which is slightly easier 28:42 you skipped over Vision's 0-33 run

I loved the part where Paqoe said "it's morbin time" and killed Vision in cold blood. Truly a Geometry Dash experience

Sidenote: Aza's run was in a dubious state of legitimacy not only because of the lack of a mirror portal, but because he did it in a seperate challenge that let you hold on the first jump unlike in the original level (Aza didn't do this intentionally, he was just not aware you couldn't hold for the first jump)

Can we give Vision a huge round of applause for even spending half a million attempts on the level? That amount of effort and time is insane.

this is honestly one of the best, if not THE best GD video out there. idk where to start. these music choices were perfect, and im so glad people are beginning to use more music from ori its so damn good. the editing is also so damn good, these transitions were really smart and creative, and you covered everything that was needed and more. honestly i really dont mind if you arent uploading too much, when your content is of this quality, it really makes up for the lack of quantity.
