I have read some of the comments here and i agree Brendan Benson is killing it. The arrangement is other-worldly, Jack is Jack which means great, Ashley Monroe sings like an angel, and Ricky Skaggs is a legend and a musical genius. The rest of the Raconteurs are also top shelf in my opinion and the best of the best of Jack White's bands/projects. They are simply great. Period.

I loved the special that featured Jack White, Jimmy Page, and The Edge. It was so cool to see him recognized as the quitar virtuoso that he is. Those 3 men are just so far above any other quitar players. They are truly guitar savants and Jack was so right to be included in that mix. How many freakin" bands does he have!?!? All 3 men are radically gifted, but i think Jack is the coolest, and sweetest one. He's just phenomenal! Im hoping to meet him at his 3rd Man Records store in Tennesse this year. What a brilliant, musical force he is!

It was great. I saw the Raconteurs on August 31, 2019 in Nashville and they performed this with Ashley Monroe. A month earlier, August...1st I think, or so, I saw Ricky Skaggs in the same place!

I listened to this version of the song in 2020 for the first time, a few weeks ago. No one knows how many times I've listened to this. There's something about this song that is just astonishing and makes want to listen to it non-stop... What an amazing song.

Jason Puckett dude u ain’t wrong, I went into a guitar center bored af and thought, “I’m a good guitar player, know these chords.”, and tried it on the mandolin. I came home and cuddled in a ball. It sounds simple... but these are hard af plucks...dude’s a legend, so are the other cats. Such a great jam. Love this so much.

Honestly, let the kids who are talented enough to learn music have the option to do so. I remember being in school and I really sucked at music but some of my classmates were great at it. If nothing else it's a good learning experience, i learned I sucked at music and it's like a foreign language to me, but other kids might learn that's their thing

HSP, drummer with "the ear" here. I feel music is the lubricant of both thought at emotion. As a writer I have found that songs I have memorized since my youth sometimes with the help of psychedelics often give me a boost as I write, creating memoir. Arrangements like the one in "Old Enough" possess enough flow to put them in that class as well. I'm sixty-eight and boy, was I born at the right time. This is great music. Would you trade Jack White for CSNY as a new artist? Or Hendrix? And while I'm being provocative, Joni Mitchell > Taylor Swift. Carry on. ;-)

This is one of my all time favorite videos. I love the way the various artists , young and old, from different genres of music, come together and just absolutely kill this thing! Ashley Monroe makes this song , in my opinion. Her voice is incredible. All the players are top shelf.

They have to call the collaboration, It might get country...... If I had the time, money and talent to record an album, I think I would want Jack White to produce it.... I ain't no singer, or guitar player, but look up predivorce paranoia, the song is great.... There are 18 songs i wrote....

To everyone complaining about Jack's voice in this: He took the low harmony, which is something he almost never does. I'm sure he did it just to let Ricky have the high part, which is probably what Ricky is more comfortable with. This ultimately put Jack out of his element. There's nothing particularly WRONG with Jack's vocals, but it is a bit weird.

Don't fuss about Jack....these are all pros, playing in a musical playground....they could have recorded the same exact song 10 minutes later with everyone taking different parts and it would have been just as great. I'm so glad to see Jack in his element...I saw the interview with all the cast of "Cold Mountain" when he said he got to the filming location and put away his guitar...he was so blown away by the group of musicians that T-Bone Burnett had gathered that he didn't want to play in front of them. We loved his playing, but now he seems to have practiced that many more years and feels okay sidling up to Ricky Skaggs for a little string harmony.....love this version....love it....
