This has been my favorite build so far. Having owned a '98 S10 myself that ran strong even with 202,000 miles on the odometer until someone pulled out in front of me and totaled it. All the truck needs now is the Xtreme badging and new headlights. Such a good looking truck. JR, I realized someone was trying to run a scam when they messaged me on here that I had won a giveaway. LOL.
No mention of 100% Jake? You need to mention 100% Jake. Anyway, congratulations for making it there when starting on that project way... too late. Start earlier, finish stronger. Overall an 8.5 out of 10. Impressive.
Dang Son, it was a hot one at LS Fest Texas. Would have been cool to talk to you, but either way I was able to see your build. Looks great and love the wrap.
Congrats on the new build! I never thought I would like the wrap but I was so wrong! Reminds me of the late 1960's and since I'm 69 it's a keeper! Love the channel. Keep up the great work and a big shout to Gabe and Josh when you see them. They make the channel a blast! Love you guys.
Kudos to you for honoring your Dad on Father’s Day. I love watching car videos but your Dad obviously made you who you are today. My Dad has passed but his legend continues in me every day ! 👍
John Ross your S10 in my opinion is the best looking best sounding truck at L.S Fest. You guys really have built one hell of a truck, and it looks absolutely stunning...👍🙂👍🇬🇧🇺🇲🇬🇧🇺🇲
This thing probably could have used 1-2 more days of work buttoning up minor details (headlights, wheels) but overall I think it came out ok and looks like you had fun, which is what matters. Now set yourself a new deadline, LSFest 2023, the Spirit of Wreckstacy returns!
Son And I was there yesterday, it was Hot as F*ck!!! I finally found the S-10, looked around for Jr hoping to get to talk to you. Nice job on the truck! The drifting competition was insane!! the Auto-x was great! didnt stick around for the drags. Holley was selling the shite out of those big umbrella hats! You kinda needed one if you wanted not to bake in the heat. $12 for a freakin gatorade!!!! wished the torchys was open, the pits was the only shade. It was still insanely hot in there as well.
We've made pulls and the wheel hop shakes the whole truck down... need to do all the QA1 stuff and get it back out. The guy that gave it to me screwed us and never got the title, so we've been working on fixing that 🍻
The truck looks good, colors look great, and the s-10 wheels look good, much better than those huge rims with low profile tires that look bad, and ride bad. You guy's knocked this one out quickly, good job. Thank God for making it happen. God bless you fellas.
Excellent, very nice seeing the truck among its peers. Congrats on getting it mostly done. Bringing it on a trailer is a nice way to work around lack of cruise control 😜
Chillin' and then someone mentions: Biscuits and Gravy - man it has been ages since I was in the States but my ears still perk up when I hear that. Happy father's day to all the awesome daddies out there! (whispering: I think my daughter is going to make B'n'G as here in Canada it is nowhere to be found)
Congratulations guys... great work. Next build you do you need to add custom support vehicles (scooter or golf kart) that looks like the next build to help you get around the place. Cheers.
awsome s-10 extreme build. thanks for another great series. The wrap looks really cool. although the rancid milk smell must be pretty horrid - at least we can't see it as viewers!
I heard you were donating to trucks in need because man I need a truck! I can't wait to see what you do with the truck and hopefully it don't vanish from the channel because its not like that never happens!
Looks great, but it seems such a shame to have wrapped that garbage tailgate. Are s10 tailgates that difficult to find? Also, why are the bumpers black? It doesn’t flow well at all?
