I stayed at the Radisson for two weeks and I had a great time! Their callaloo soup is fantastic! Great, friendly staff and the list goes on! Great review, Rajeev!
A balanced review Vibes, wonder how many young people would know the name holiday inn? I agree with you that this hotel is geared towards business customers, which is appropriate considering the location of the hotel, not an ideal location for a relaxing stay. I also agree with you 😂on the choices of carpets. They have bought the hotel into the 21st century and offers a world class product. I was happy to see the local content of the dinner and the reasonable price for the grab and go menu. Happy to see all prices are final with no hidden charges, I have gotten caught with city taxes before 😢😢😢. This wasn't highlighted before we checked out . Great 👍 marks to the radisson for honesty.
Rajiv - Radisson hotel was named after a French Explorer Piere-Esprit Radisson. The first Radisson Hotel was built in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1909. Nice windows view. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome Reshma and yeah if you look closely at the sign to the side of the hotel, my wife pointed out that you can still see the crown plaza outline, lol
This was very nice Rajeev..and happy to see Julia too. I know the hotel as Holiday Inn. They used to have a really delicious buffet lunch at that time.
They didn't even put some roses on the bed or nothing 😂.... come on Radisson what kind of Romantic Package is that?? Next time you looking for a romantic getaway try Accodax your wife will love it.
Very informative vlog as per usual. Thanks for showing us the ins and outs. My husband and I usually go to the Hyatt for a staycation but I dont mind checking out The Radisson from what you've shown. One question though...was that the extent of the buffet options for dinner?
For dinner, that was basically it, they had some salads and baked goods, and I’m not sure if it’s the same thing they serve every night but that was one of the best lamb I’ve had in awhile..and you’re most welcome
Hi, cool vid. Can you explore some Airbnb or apartments? As the hotel vibes a lil outdated for what you get in city. A thought for those flying in to Trini.
I have been to this hotel 3 times last year and once in January of this year. It was very nice however lunch and dinner is poor. Breakfast is good. However some of the rooms have outdated bathroom fixtures and looks very dirty. But it is up to individuals standards to determine if the pros outway the cons
Thanks for this review, we this visited in June this year, and dinner at least this rounds was pretty good, especially that lamb…but ihu with the out dated bathrooms in some of the rooms, hopefully they upgrade these soon (as I realized works were on-going while I was there)
I have great memories going to The Carnival fetes in 1976 when Byron Lee played there every year,La Ronde the roof top bar/restaurant that did a 360...T&T was still paradise,i left in 1979.Seem like they did a lot of improvements...I don't think it's worth that much money for what you get,but then again, they cater for a certain class of people, which is a good thing...I did not see much security....which is very important right now in T&T...
Nice and while crime is currently an all time high, they have never been any incidents at our hotels, as the saying goes “monkey know which tree to climb”…but in any event, I do agree that the price is high for those packages
The last time I stayed there it was very dated. Looks like they've spent...hmm some money. This used to be the Holiday Inn 40 yrs ago...the SPE exhibitions, I remember, it was very nice back then. The country was very wealthy at that time in the 70's. The ruling party made their mark overseas, that much is true.
