I've gotta agree with the fact that Revive Times need to be shorter and there needs to be something you can actually do when crawling. The only thing you can do while crawling is use Sensu Beans, but half the time you'll just die anyways, so Sensu should be usable after being unable to move instead (But if we did that then there's no point in using them while crawling AAAA)

Imagine if when the full game releases the patch notes say "we felt the raider had too hard of a time evolving so we let them pick up change power"

The problem is if you had one more person beating on the raider earlier in the game all that health really isn't enough. Raider is supposed to win the 1v1's, and lose the 3+v1's. Even vs a level 4 survivor once the raider knows breaker combat, and especially if they play dirty moving backward and attacking.

That stunlock came in clutch more than anything. Plus the raider made a dumb move. The immortal wish is only useful if you're level 4 or in a lobby full of noobs. Otherwise you would just get stunlocked while the machine sends you away. A level 4 would make you almost untouchable PLUS you used the dragon balls so no one can beat you

This is one of the best playthroughs I've ever seen. Just the sheer epicness of trying to stall an immortal raider long enough for the time machine to activate and actually succeeding while knowing that the time machine was the only way you could win.

Stall tactics in this game are actually pretty useful, specially when the super time machine is nearly done

Look at the bright side, at least its the hunter who is op, not the prey, unlike a certain other game

Nicely done with the teamwork. Immortality means nothing if reality changes, after all. That’s why it’s always good to have that machine functioning just in case. 👍

I don't know why they insist a survivor should be able to 1v1 the raider, there are 7 of them against one guy the raider needs to be op for a one on one, if 2 or 3 people jump a raider of similar or lower power level that raider eats a lot of damage.

I don't know. I keep hearing people complain about Revive Times but when I look at DbD, it takes just as long without perks. Whenever I've revived people with an additional person, I never noticed it to be long. Plus the game even throws Senzu Beans at you left and right from my experience and thats an instant pick-up. But I did have over 40hrs of gameplay so I did learn the ins and outs of the game pretty well. I think the only tweak is just Frieza's Stage 1 death beam being super fast "but" other than that, nothing really stands out for me.

And that’s why you should prefer lvl 4 over immortality he wouldn’t even be able to get stunned and would’ve killed everyone easily or if he was low hp could’ve regained hp and still have the ability to gain level power when getting hit so i guess immortality is the most useless wish with frieza unless you’re already lvl 4 then that’s gg

This game pointed out some problems with the raider, but problems with the survivors too. They infinity comboed an immortal 3rd form freeza and he couldn’t do shit. I thought the game had ended when he made the wish but he got slapped so hard I felt it. Imagine if he wasn’t immortal lol.

Steedoj, I enjoy your DB: The Breakers videos but 7:18 probably could have been avoided if you used your grappling hook to get away while using the Rocket Launcher you had to keep him back. Grappling hook is clutch for quick get aways after picking up the Raider's dragonballs and I saw a few opportunities in there where you could have used it.

Id say a good change to the game would be the more areas destroyed/powerkeys set up, the shorter the revive time gets. At the stsrt of the game, it is slower, getting faster as time goes on, until the final fight where everyone is grouped up it being much faster

More RNG is added to games today to make people feel like they are doing really well without being aware about how much of that is personal skill or improvement. This allows weaker players to feel stronger and be more likely to continue playing and providing money to the game. The side effect is it creates toxic players and also makes the discussions about what is and isn't balanced happen more often. It also means that better players cant shut these players down instantly because beating them is inconsistent due to RNG, ofc it will be more often they win but they can still lose through no fault of their own or skill of the opponent. On the otherhand reducing RNG would severely separate the strong verse the weak, at least half the player base is below average and knows little about the game. Meaning unless you have a very efficient MMR system and enough players playing to give games equal MMR then every game would be a literal stomp. At that point the better players cant have casual games because every game will be a sweat fest. RNG adds a kind of relief for the loss knowing it wasnt all due to your lack of skill and it also allows for players of all skill level to be slightly closer and have better more productive games. Considering I already have 30 hours in the game the last thing I would want is to keep winning over and over it would lose its charm. So as much as I hate RNG because weak player build toxic egos. I also appreciate it for keeping the game fresh and challenging. Probably rework Buu though, he needs a bit more skill to play to justify how strong as he is.

I think it's supposed to be this unbalanced. The raider is supposed to feel powerful and be able to easily 1v1 a surviver.

I think the raider should be much weaker at level 1 and 2 to make leveling up more important and staying low level much scarier and nerf their ki blast cuz they auto lovk and one shot survivors and they can spam it

I'm sorry but I have to say this. Proelefsi complaining about RNG making a game bad WHILE AT THE SAME TIME praising EDF is one of the most hypocritical standpoints I've ever heard related to gaming. EDF RUNS on RNG. First off it's completely random if an enemy even DROPS something in those games. Second, even when the enemies do drop stuff it's completely random if they drop healing, HP increase, or weapons. Finally third, and easily BIGGEST, is that weapons themselves are randomized. Certain weapons only drop within certain mission groups and on certain difficulties. And NOTHING ingame tells you what weapons drop in what missions. You have to blindly guess and grind whichever missions you know you can do easily while hoping the weapons you want/need are in that mission. I love EDF and managed to get through all 110 single player missions in 5, and I think about 30% through on hardest before I needed a break. But that game is ruled by RNG and it is very imbalanced. Based purely on mechanics and balance, I'll take breakers any day. I can say I think EDF is more fun and amusing. The over-the-top voice acting. The insane weapons. The laughably stupid story premise. EDF is fun. But balanced and pure skill based it is not

I don’t think they need to change anything about survivors besides revive time. In the end game the whole team is going to be lv 3 with cooldown drinks because of supplies. If the raider hasn’t gotten rid of 3 or more peopl, it’s is a 100% loss. The raider this game was immortal and still lost because of how strong the survivors are.

I think we should let the dust settle. The game is brand new and people still don't know how to play effectively. Back when DBD was released ppl thought the Wraith was op cuz he could go invisible and he ended up being the worst killer in the game for 2 years, also ppl thought survivors were weak and look how THAT turned out

Honestly, I'm fine with Revive being 20 seconds *IF* When you're down, you can self revive to at LEAST half the bar (so 10 seconds off) just like in Dead By Daylight. (95% self revive in that game) And also give the Survivors a passive that reduces the Revive time by something like 25% (5 less seconds (7.5 seconds total revive time if you had the passive + the person self revived to half)) It would actually make saving people kinda worth it! (Also Downed survivors should also be undetectable too, as while it makes little difference, it could help that 1/100 times) The second one is to fix skill that are used but do not take effect, if a skill gets used (such as solar flare) and it gets canceled for whatever reason and doesn't take effect, the skill should IMEDIATELY get back half it's Cooldown at the very least! (that may sound pointless, but if you're change powered and you lose a skill because reasons, you automatically have a large disadvantage, this also stops survivors from freely escaping if they're not changed by not being fully refunded on the lost skill or PERMA STUNNING THE RAIDER!) These changes ALONE would make the game better ten-folds.
