A collection of clips showing the Railway Children Return cast at Oakworth Station before the film premiere at the Picture House, Keighley. The video clips are accompanied by music supplied by my niece, Katie Ellwood, song writer, musician and sound engineer/producer. Hope you enjoy!

Loved the music. Some judicious editing might have made more of the raw footage.

Well done Peter, great footage caught off camera so well and natural. So loved the Original Classic Film from 1970 Directed by Lionel Jeffries, but great to this 52 years down the line! Would have loved to have had a chat with Sir Tom Courtenay who is now 85! What a National Film Treasure, this man is, appeared in so many Classic Films! From Billy Liar, Doctor Zhivago, The Dresser. National TV - ITV gave this 2 mins coverage, i don't think the BBC even bothered to cover it. Did you get any footage of the Premier at the beautiful Picture House Cinema, 1913 Keighley? Hi Mark, thanks for the comment. All done on my phone as battery ran out on my camera. No, I didn't manage to get to the Premiere at the Picture House. There some photos on fbk groups. BBC did cover it on Look North. Jon Mitchell ITV and Phil Bodmer BBC both appear in my film! Think some of the Child actors will become very well known in years to come so will have more nostalgia interest in 50 yrs from now!

Just another victim of the woke makeover of our culture. I look forwards to seeing more black people around Oakworth now white racism has been exposed, yet again, in "The Return."

It's a different film! Not a remake or even a sequel, as such. Both films look at how injustice can be countered. Both are ultimately uplifting and positive. We need that in this awful world as it is right now.

@@tominnis8353 In the original story the father is the victim of an injustice that is speedily corrected. Our children are increasingly being taught to feel guilt about their history, culture and their ancestors because of the original sin of "whiteness", something we are unable to change and will therefore be punished for indefinitely. English Heritage are to allow "refugees" to access their sites free of charge. Those of us whose fathers and grandfathers fought to defend this country in two world wars have to pay for that privilege.

@@alanwilliams3677 This might or might not be true. In the film it is certain members of the US army and Military Police who are represented as 'villains' - not our own history. Irrespective of that, I found the film primarily entertaining and pleasurable.
