We moved from Srinagar to Gulmarg and then finally to Aru, the base location for the trek. The couple of days of acclimatization was spent doing a lot of physical activities like cycling across the countryside or making small hikes.
The stunning captivating landscape of Gulmarg and Pahalgam was enthralling. The enchanting rainbow across the endless stretch of flowers was a view that I will never forget.
Indeed, if there is heaven somewhere, its here, in Kashmir.
