That's what the sport is. That's how it's supposed to work. The champ should be fighting the top challenger in a big fight Guys like SRL would have a big fight, then a couple of tuneups, then a big fight. Even when SRL retired people called him and said he needed to fight Hagler. So he did. Guys today only use boxing as a business transaction, there is very little care for proving themselves the best.
I can't think of 1 time when ProBox have asked Teddy a question where he has shortly, simply & succinctly answered that question. Teddy answers the question + anything else he can relate to it, whether it makes sense or not. Pualie and Algieri often look vagued out once Teddy has the microphone for more than a minute. Producers gotta tell Teddy to answer the question simply, and only answer the question you're asked.
All you guys are eating your words! Paulie, Chris and teddy couldn't make superstar status! I respect you all but like mayweather said "you don't know shit about boxing!" Canelo fought everyone
You’re bugging regarding Berlanga, he was just outclassed. He did his thing but he’s not at that level yet. As a fan he gained my viewership, I’ll be watching him fight for years to come.
Canelo Alvarez is the most complete fighter in boxing today. His ability to adapt, his devastating body shots, his flawless defense and his knockout power. Yet these guys will NEVER give Canelo credit. My opinion: Canelo isn’t obligated to take all the fights everyone wants him to take. He doesn’t need to prove anything. His resume is legendary. He’s fought champion after champion with 3(iirc) mandatories in a 10 year span.
Berlanga is not elite AT ALL. Munguia as well in my opinion. Munguia has improved tho I will admit but he still lacks skills to me. There is a reason both of them avoided tough competition prior to the Canelo fight
@@robertoreal1117 the problem isn’t his power it’s his gas tank. Plant outboxed benavidez in the first half of the fight till he got tired, benavidez always gets stronger towards the second half of his fights so that just made things worse for plant. Plant was also beating canelo till he gasssd out and got ko'd. Berlango doesnt have that constent prrssure like david or canelo to tire out plant i dont even think he knows how to cut off the ring.
Berlanga was happy surviving he didnt show me he was hungry in that fight. He showed heart to continue and survive but thats it. He didnt try to win. His fans seem to be proud of that tho and thats all berlanga wanted.
The worst possible boxing analysts all on one panel . They literally talked about berlanga for over 12 minutes , this is disgusting . Teddy atlas saying that he did wnough to lose well !!??? WTF !!??? If the true definition of a hater were to be a a show , this is it . Disgusting panel of boxing analysts starting with Paulie Malignaggi !!
@PROBOX Can we get mcumby vs bazinyan next both coming off stoppage loses lets see who corrects the mistakes. Also i like berlanga vs andarade or bektamir next
Andy Ruiz left the blue print, yes you have to have the power to make AJ go on the back foot. You have to have a chin, to take AJ's punches. But there is something you have to do to make AJ gas out, which nobody has mentioned yet. You have to hit him in the body. Most fans didn't see that when Dubois got AJ buzzed 😵💫🫨 instead of just head hunting him, he got him with some clean ass body shots (like Ruiz) The difference between Ruiz and Dubois was that Ruiz is like 6'1 compared to 6'4 or 6'5 for Dubois. Which was easier for Dubois to land easier jabs, where Ruiz had to take more punishment to get inside AJ's defense. I wanna see Andy Ruiz vs Dubois. This would be a truly fire fight.
@@big-l5771 wrong ! , Bivol rematch didn’t happen cause Bivol wanted the fight at 168 for all the belts and Canelo said no, as for Benavidez he said he is more then happy to return to 168
@@dartanyaneight9900stop spreading lies like you spread your legs. After bivol said that bivol said he doesn't know if he can make 168. The one who didn't want the rematch at 175 was bivol and his own coach. Bivols coach Owen mouth " a rematch is a high risk low reward" so that's cabelo fault too?😂 Benavidez aint at 168 no more so who else is at 168 my boy?
Canelo is # 1. Not only because of his record but has fought in multiple weight classes and his only losses were against Mayweather, by points, weight-drained, running, hugging and young and never git a rematch. Maidana beat Mayweather twice, Canelo would have beat Maidana. His other loss vs Bivol was because the latter was much bigger, Canelo chose him to prove himself, he could've fought anyone else, and it was a decision, making Bivol a weight bully that doesn't have the status of Canelo. It's like if Bivol fights in the heavyweight division, will get KOed. These guys are so biased.
Canelo also fought Bivol with an injury in his left wrist. After that bout canelo got surgery. The punch stats after the surgery show his left hand being used much more.
I noticed the guys keep talking about munguia and the Canelo money that he got I mean dude made 4 million now that's definitely life-changing money no no doubt about it but let's stop talking about like you know he got 10 million or 15 million can I look at 32 million for Christ sakes but I got 4 million so let's pump the brakes on this Canelo money thing all these guys are getting 4 million That's it man nobody's getting 10 or 15 million now that's what David benavides will require at least six to eight million though we know benavides were fighting for two he just wants to beat his ass but I mean I don't know why we keep saying this Canelo money you know he got 4 million man
@@joelgalvan3958the top dogs had no experience at the championship level be honest stop glazing, plant had no experience billy Joe had no experience, Edgar had no experience man canelo has only fought a few experienced fighters bro and they were well past their prime man let's be honest here. Canelo fought a old kovalev, and a premature berlanga premature MUNGUIA had only beaten Deryvenchenko who had like 5 L I mean guys like Floyd had 50/50 fights almost every time cotto was a 50/50 Pacquiao was canelo had the advantage actually I mean canelo is good he just has a deceptive record
@dontrah1838 😂😂😂😂 i aint gone read that long ass shit. Experience? No one has more than canelo. So wat is your point? Benavidez never even attempted to unify until the cash cow walked in. Hope you sleep well at night.
